I bought it to replace the stock cooler for Intel socket 775.
Simply a tragedy, at least on my motherboard.
The base of the cooler barely fits, but the main body doesn't fit at all because the latch that attaches to the base requires some extra space to latch onto and it was sitting on top of the chip cooler of the motherboard.
I had to remove it to install it, and while the system was working, the performance of the cooler was good, but of course, after a while, the motherboard chip overheated and the computer froze, so I had to reinstall the old cooler.
Money wasted, maybe I will use it in the future on another PC, if it fits, of course.
I can't understand how a reputable company releases products without considering such parameters.
Simply a disappointment.
Την αγόρασα για αντικατάσταση της στοκ ψυκτρας για Intel socket 775.
Απλά μια τραγωδία, τουλάχιστον στην δικιά μου μητρική.
Η βάση της ψυκτρας χωράει οριακά αλλά το κυρίως σώμα με τίποτα γιατί το έλασμα που κουμπώνει στην βάση θέλει ένα στρέμμα χώρο για να κουμπώσει και έβρισκε πάνω στην ψυκτρα του τσιπ της μητρικής.
Αναγκάστηκα να το βγάλω για την τοποθετήσω, και όσο δούλεψε το σύστημα η απόδοση της ψυκτρας ήταν καλή, αλλά φυσικά μετά από λίγο υπερθέρμανθηκε το τσιπ της μητρικής και κόλλαγε ο υπολογιστής,οπότε αναγκάστηκα να τοποθετήσω την παλιά ψυκτρα πάλι.
Πεταμένα λεφτά, ίσως την χρησιμοποιησω στο μέλλον σε κάποιο άλλο pc, αν χωράει φυσικά.
Δεν μπορώ να καταλάβω πως μια επώνυμη εταιρεία βγάζει προϊόντα χωρίς να υπολογίσει τέτοιες παραμέτρους.
Απλά μια απογοήτευση.
