How we see the world is related to how we see ourselves. Our model for the universe - our worldview or cosmology - is based on the pattern, the image we have of ourselves.

This means that in order to effectively address the ecological crisis, we must change our worldview, which in turn means we must change our self-image. Without this transformation, the adventure of civilization will come to an end, and many of those living today will witness this evolution.
