The series: To ensure children have a healthy social life rooted in effective relationships, they must cultivate empathy, the ability to put themselves in others' shoes, to understand and feel things the same way another person experiences them. The illustrated books in this series promote emotional intelligence. With the proposed approach for parents and educators, they aim to initiate children into seeing the world through others' eyes, after first learning to recognize and manage their own emotions. The series "Books that Promote Emotional Intelligence" consists of 32 books.

The author: Yolanda Tzoroni-George is a graduate of the Law School, the Pedagogical Academy, and the Pedagogical Department of the University of Athens and has furthered her education at the Maraslios Teaching Institute. She worked for many years in public education, writes articles for educational magazines, volunteers with organizations that promote literature, is an active member of the Women's Literary Society, and has published many books for children and studies of folkloric content.

Author Biography

Yolanda Tsoroni - Georgiadi, born in Kalamata, resides permanently in Athens with her husband and two children. In 1984, she graduated from the Law School of Athens, and in 1987, she obtained her degree from the Pedagogical Academy. Her works include theatrical texts written for school performances and celebrations during her teaching career.

The author has also participated in Innovative Programs of the Ministry of Education, creating two children's novels and two environmental programs. Since 2005, excerpts from her work "Why do we say it like this..." have been broadcast on NET radio, while related topics are published in the educational magazine "Window to Children's Education". Her creative contribution also extends to the field of folk customs, with the title "Festive Calendar".
