At the core of this volume are the works included in the 5th edition of I. V. Stalin's book, "The Great Patriotic War of the Soviet Union: Speech on the Radio on July 3, 1941," presentations by I. V. Stalin dedicated to the anniversaries of the Great October Socialist Revolution, orders from the Supreme Commander and People's Commissar of Defense of the USSR, addresses to the people regarding the victory over Germany and Japan, speeches by I. V. Stalin at receptions in the Kremlin in honor of the commanders of the Red Army troops and participants in the Victory Parade, and other documents.
Additionally, the volume includes telegrams from I. V. Stalin to the workers of the Soviet rear, telegrams to foreign figures reflecting the course of the war and the organization of a joint offensive by the liberal peoples against fascism. Letters and telegrams from I. V. Stalin to political figures of the people's republics and capitalist countries are also published, along with answers to questions from Soviet and foreign journalists.
