Having been injured after his battle with the shaman Ren, thirteen-year-old Yoh Asakura regains consciousness in the hospital, only to see his fiancée, Anna Kyoyama! As expected, his future wife is also a shaman. Things, however, get complicated when a deceased movie star from Hong Kong and master of kung fu comes back to life with the intention of redeeming the shame from Ren's recent defeat.
