The only issue is that the cables are very short... Believe me, it's a matter. You need to proceed with the purchase of additional items that increase the overall cost and the value for money is lost, that's why it gets 4 stars.

Mediocre things in both the adhesion and construction, meaning the only thing I have to commend is its cable and the fact that it sparks during use, throwing sparks!!!! I do not recommend it for professional use!!!! For occasional household use, it's fine for one glue job per year!!!!!!

I used it with 2.5mm stainless steel electrodes for 3-4 seams that I needed on 316, it performed well, I have no complaints, of course, it is still early, time will tell...

In these money, such welding I did not expect. It sticks continuously and on solid railing I was very satisfied both from the melting it did on the iron and from the quality of the welding when I removed the drill. Fast sticking without much fuss and for free

Very good choice. It's worth the money and more. I've used it with 2.5mm & 3.25mm electrodes and it doesn't even notice. Lately, I've also used it with a TIG clamp. It's flawless. And the current is very stable, especially in TIG. I believe it's also suitable for professional use.

I confirm my previous statements. 4 packs of electrodes in 5 days, 2.5mm electrodes at 75-80A for beams and plates of 5mm.

After some measurements I made, I noticed that the welding produces about 20-25A more than the indicated value.

For example, 20A->28A, 25A->44A, 30A->50A, 40A->65A, 50A->70A

In one month, it burned and I have sent it to the dealership and I don't even know what will happen, it has been a month and nothing. Stay away from this machine, really.

Very good electric welding. Even though I am a beginner, I was able to make satisfactory welds straight away without any problems. The only issue is the length of the cables...

The machine is excellent. I had another inverter and they have nothing to do with each other. You touch the electrode and it grabs for fun. I was amazed at how it sticks!! Very powerful and very good performance. The cables would be perfect if they were a little longer (not a big deal, I will put longer ones myself). Finally, I have to say that it has very good clamps and high-quality cables and adapters compared to others on the market. I recommend it for purchase without hesitation.

Very powerful. Three stars because the cables are 1.5 meters long and because it burned out in 10 days with little use at 30-40 Amps. They replaced it for me but they charged me for it.
Anyway, with 17-20 Amps I stuck 0.5mm sheet metal. And with 30-40 Amps, I welded 2mm hollow sections.
One drawback is that it doesn't cut off the power if the electrode sticks. It rarely happens, but if it does, it doesn't come off.

I have it for two weeks and it's great. It can't be beaten for its price. Four hours of continuous sticking on kilodoques and didn't notice anything.

Very good for amateurs. The electrode does not stick at low amperage that I deliberately tested, and it performs well. I have tried other more famous ones, but this one impressed me, I must say. I worked with it for a long time and neither it nor the cables got hot. The downside is that the cables are a bit short, but we can manage. Also, in mine, the protective rubber of the plugs was inserted oppositely, meaning the black one was in the positive and the red one in the negative. The connections on the grounding clamp were loose, as well as on the plugs. I took them out and tightened them, so everything is okay. For those who get it, check it and tighten it if needed, so it doesn't draw more amps during operation, which can cause damage to the machine in the long run. As for the price... 59 euros on Black Friday offer, a bargain. Plus, it comes with a two-year warranty.

So I have the inverter arcmax 160a welding machine and by chance it came into my possession due to certain circumstances (we got it as a set with an argon welding machine on Black Friday) and the said welding machine is the Bormann biw1600.
We tried the welding machine and we were truly amazed!!
It's a cannon of a tool, I confirm what the friend below says, it devours a 2.5mm electrode at 60 to 65 amps.
As an amateur, I am very satisfied. The cables may be short, but the clamps are excellent, big and proper. And even better, the dealership offers a 2-year warranty for amateurs.

It is not for more than 20 minutes of work, I got stuck with some irons and it burned on the second day. I have stuck with other welding machines and nothing happened. This is a very expensive welding machine and it is not for heavy-duty work. Spend a little more money and get something better.

Excellent tool. The digital ammeter helps a lot to always be where you need to be. My only problem is that besides the fact that the cables are close, which is normal because it affects performance, the power cable is very short. So the strap to carry the weld is useless because without an extension cord, the weld goes nowhere. The power cable is half a meter long.
Otherwise, very powerful. 2.5mm electrode and you can't put more than 50 amps. It melts before you realize what happened.
Also, another observation in my welding machine, the grounding is red in the plug that you put in the machine and the positive is black! Something that can confuse you.

I was truly amazed by how easily I worked with 55-65 A. I used 2.5 electrodes and the result was very satisfying.
Without being an expert, I believe it's worth its money, and I definitely don't regret buying it.

I think it is one of the best purchases I have made. The machine blows! With some high-sticking that I did, neither the electrode stuck nor did the welding ever get hot. As for the cable, which is very short, it may make it difficult for you to weld, but the shorter it is, the better the welding performance. For the moment, I am very satisfied! I would recommend it!
