I used it to connect my 2015 MacBook Air to a PC monitor. It worked for 3 days and then just stopped. It no longer recognizes the source. Prefer some other solution.
We just bought it now to connect our old MacBook to the TV and we are satisfied, the image and sound quality are great, and even when our child pulled it a few times, it didn't break - so I would say it withstands compared to others we had.
A mediocre product of low quality, simply to get the job done. Mediocre sound and image quality and mediocre durability over time.
It does a great job doing the same work that the original (expensive) adapter would do between a 2011 Macbook Pro and a PC monitor. Normal build quality, but it seems reliable, I hope it lasts a long time!
It's been great so far (2 months)
After a year+ of use, it works perfectly fine. There is no reason to get something more expensive than this.
