Description

Description

80 Plus Gold certified power supply with semi-modular wiring for low power consumption and easy installation. The 120mm diameter self-regulating fan maintains the temperature at normal levels, quietly and efficiently.

80 PLUS Gold

It has 80 PLUS Gold certification, which means it provides clean power reaching 85% of its total efficiency.

The highly efficient operation of the TX series leads to lower energy consumption and lower operating costs. As it produces less heat, the fan does not need to work as hard and you will enjoy almost silent operation.

Semi-modular wiring

Flat black cables and the semi-modular design allow the user to use only the cables needed for a cleaner appearance with better airflow. The motherboard and CPU power cables are integrated. Connection indicators make installation quick and easy.

Compact Design

The TX-M series cases have a length of only 140mm, ensuring easy application to almost all modern computer cases.

Reliability during use

For stable, reliable power and exceptional electrical performance, each power supply in the TX-M series features LLC resonant topology with DC-DC conversion and Japanese capacitors rated at 105°C. With precise timing, the TX-M supports Microsoft Modern Standby, ensuring extremely fast wake-up times from sleep and better performance at low loads.

Connectivity

  • 1x ATX 20 + 4 pin motherboard power cable.
  • 1x EPS12V/ATX12V Cable (4+4).
  • 2x PCIe 6+2 graphics card power supply cables to take advantage of the SLI or Crossfire capability of the PC.
  • 6x SATA power cables for SSD or HDD hard disks
  • 4x Molex 4 pin cables for additional peripherals
  • 1x 4 pin floppy cable for floppy reader or card reader.

Protection Levels

  • OPP (Over Power Protection): The power supply shuts down when excessive power is drawn, generally between 110% and 140% of the advertised power.
  • OTP (Over Temperature Protection): Protects the power supply from overheating damage, such as that caused by the fan.
  • UVP (Under Voltage Protection): Protection that aims to shut down the power supply if the voltage drops too low.
  • OVP (Over Voltage Protection): Overvoltage protection works similarly to UVP, but in reverse.
  • SCP (Short Circuit Protection): Short circuit protection measures the resistance on each rail and will shut down when the resistance is less than 0.1 ohms. Generally, this is combined with OPP, OCP, OVP, and UVP.

After 3 years, everything is fine, it worked well with a 2060 Super 5600x/5800x3d and now with a 3080 ftw3 ultra. The 3080 draws around 390 watts and I'm a bit hesitant to tell the truth haha, but maybe I'm exaggerating, when my friend below says he had the 650w version with a 3080. It's a quality and good product! The only thing I would like is to have 3 separate 8-pin cables to power each 24-pin GPU. It has 2 8+8 pins, the so-called daisy chain cables.

I can't say much because it's just a power supply. Easy cable management since it's semi modular, protection against power surges, works perfectly with an RTX 3060ti for half a year. Completely silent for 100€ and 750 watts, I believe it's a good choice

I have had this specific power supply for two months at 750W, so I cannot write about its durability. The system it powers is a Z390 Aorus Pro with an I9-9900K and an RTX 3070 Gaming OC, and so far it has been working flawlessly. Its performance is stable and it is quiet to the point where I cannot tell if and when the cooler is running. As for its construction, it feels very sturdy and not flimsy at all. The cables, in terms of length, came in a box for the ATX motherboard, and they seem to be of decent quality, but nothing special. Finally, I want to say that I don't see a reason for someone to buy a full modular power supply because the two cables that the semi modular one provides are the essential ones that you cannot not use. If there is anything unusual regarding durability, which I hope not, I will come back to update.

I have had it in my possession for almost 2 years and it has not caused me any issues whatsoever. It is simply of top construction and quality, as well as being quiet, which is important to me since the tower rarely shuts down. Before this, I had a turbo-x power supply and honestly, the difference is huge and worth the price difference. I am also at ease knowing that it is certified Plus Gold. I highly recommend it.

I bought this specific power supply on 4/20.
And today, 1/2/2021, it burned for an unknown reason. It didn't show me anything negative, the only thing is that a few weeks ago it had tripped the room's circuit breaker, which essentially powers the computer. It turned back on fine, I didn't know why it tripped once or twice or three times, until today when the PC wouldn't turn on and the power supply smelled burnt. I hope the warranty covers me and they replace it for me

I bought this specific PSU for installation in a case that offers many possibilities in Cable Management, however, it still makes the situation very difficult and the fact that it is Semi Modular and that the cables that come with it are slightly larger than necessary. Especially for the Sata connections, I recommend having your own cable in advance.

I bought this specific power supply by mistake, thinking that I got the full modular version. Surprisingly, I was impressed by the semi-modular one and I can say that it meets my needs for now. In the future, if I add more SATA devices, I may change my mind, but for now, I am almost satisfied. The only thing that bothered me a little in terms of cable management was the 24-pin cable, so I recommend using an extender for that, as it is the only thing that bothers me visually. If you choose to, definitely go for a 24-pin extender for a perfect cable management. In terms of performance, it seems stable without any issues.

Very good quality, I have trust in Corsair for many years, a big positive is its safety and the warranty that the company offers. It should be noted that it never raises the temperature even with heavy use and it is quiet. Generally, all Corsair series are satisfactory, although it may be a bit expensive, which is reasonable from my perspective because other companies do not have such technologies and qualities in power supplies (and not only).

My only complaint is cable management, but that's the issue with all non-fully modular PSUs on the market, so it's not a fault of this specific component.

My rating would be even lower...
But let me explain... I bought the power supply from...(although it doesn't matter, excellent service and price) 8 months ago... unfortunately, amidst the coronavirus, its fan started to spin relentlessly, which of course resulted in me having to replace it due to working from home, meaning I lost the warranty (my problem, but still unacceptable).
Especially when there are power supplies in the same house that are 20 years old and still going strong.
Personally, even if it was an isolated case and the fix was simple, there is no chance I would buy a Corsair power supply.
Seasonic, Enermax, Silverstone... the rest are just for reviewers to get for free and claim they are amazing...

This power supply has been purchased twice to build 2 similar systems, primarily for gaming use. It comes with 2 cables with 3 sata power connectors, 2 cables with 3 molex connectors each, and 2 cables with 2 8-pin connectors. This plethora of connections covers the needs for any system.

Its small size helps with easy installation in cases with limited space for a power supply, and the modular cables improve the number of cables that need to be gathered during both installation and cable management. For a system with 1-3 drives and a graphics card, only 4 cables are needed (24-pin, 8-pin cpu power, 1 sata power, 1 pci power), significantly reducing the conventional number of 8 found in most fully wired models.

The quality of the connectors is very good, as with any other Corsair power supply.

During operation, it is completely silent and no sudden changes in voltages have been observed through the ai suite program.

Kids, Corsair makes quality products, especially power supplies. I chose the same company again because I was satisfied with my previous purchase of a Corsair GS800 Watt Platinum power supply, which has been working flawlessly for about 7 years (purchased in 2013). There were many times after a power outage that I crossed my fingers hoping nothing had been damaged, but it protected me like a UPS. What else could I ask for? This time, I went with the TX750, and for another decade, I'll forget that my PC runs on electricity. Tx

Really quiet. You don't notice anything when you press the start button, you just see the PC booting up. Many quality connections are used in the system, such as Asus Prime B350 Plus, AMD Ryzen 5 2600, Corsair 2x8GB 3200, Sapphire RX580 Nitro+ 8GB. Update 16/11/2022, after three years of uninterrupted operation, it continues to work like the first day despite power outages and voltage drops that it has faced all this time. Now it works with MSI B450 A Pro, Ryzen 5 5600X, Sapphire RX 6700, G.Skill Trident Neo 2x8 3600C16

I wanted to buy the equivalent at 650 watts, but with just a 12 euro price difference, I chose to buy the more powerful one, which I may need in the future. It is 80plus Gold, with a 7-year warranty, which is rarely found in most companies, it looks high-quality and has a good weight. Finally, it is semi modular, with wide black cables for better cable management. I recommend it!

It was used in a PC build to power a Ryzen 7 2700x in combination with an Aorus RTX2080. Flawless, 80+ Gold, with plenty of warranty and semi modular with flat cables that are quite presentable and easy to manage.

    POSITIVE
It is extremely stable, more than one would expect, it doesn't sound at all literally, it has plenty of connections and cables. Dog!

    NEGATIVE
The cables are a huge drawback.
Each cable has more than 2 to 5+ plugs to connect whatever you love.. HOWEVER, at a distance of 2 points from each other, resulting in needing to buy a clean PC for each connection and an extension with all that entails

I haven't tried it for a while, but it hasn't caused me any problems so far. It's completely silent and very easy to install, with great cable management since it's semi-modular. It has enough wattage and gold certification, which is great for its price, especially considering the power supply shortages in Greece. My system is an i5 8600k with a GTX 1070 Asus ROG Strix.

EDIT: After two months, I can confidently say that I am very satisfied with it. I also recommended it to a friend of mine, who has been using it for a month now without any issues in his system, which consists of a Ryzen 5 2600 and an Asus 1070 ROG Strix.

Edit2: It has been 5 months now, and it is still working perfectly stable without any problems, just like my friend's system. I should also mention that I live in an area with frequent power outages and poor voltage.

Description & Specifications

It is hardly heard at all, no part of the pc is strained in terms of power supply, even with multiple demanding applications open, and the cable management it provides is handy for those who want to have an organized tower
