Many of the crisis forms that have emerged in various social spaces in recent years in our country (language crisis, depoliticization, family crisis, national identity crisis, school crisis, etc.) are often nothing more than collective positions of grief. These griefs, which are overlooked expressions of a sense of offense experienced today by a number of people who either hold dominant, secondary, insignificant, and invisible positions within the internal hierarchy of a group, or believe that they hold a position corresponding to their expectations, are added to the known particular griefs of a specific class.
Today, the experience of constantly increasing collective disappointment with politics is pervasive. Many people who experience various forms of grief increasingly feel that their social discomfort has no space to be expressed, that no one listens to them, that no authority takes care of them, and indeed, without any political shame, the discomfort they experience. More and more citizens today have the feeling not only that they have no place to speak and express these griefs, but also that there is no way for them to be heard.
In such contexts and wanting to break away from the "blindness" and "deafness" of those who speak about these crises and griefs based on a series of constructed numbers and pulse measurements, untested "qualitative" research, and superficial reporting, this study aims to shed light on some "testimonies," some of the (non-)perspectives of these forms of grief that are usually censored, self-censored, and rejected, in such a way as to simultaneously give them scientific, social, and political, in the broad sense, function.
