Before publishing my book, I showed it to three Jewish friends of mine, at the risk of losing them. The first was astonished at my sudden... anti-Semitism and pro-Arab views. The second simply said, "Even so, the most democratic country in the world is Israel." The third confessed to me that for a long time he wanted to become a member of the anti-Zionist Jewish organization Neturei Karta, and now he has decided to do so.

I am not anti-Semitic. If I were, it would be quite ironic to be simultaneously pro-Arab, given that we know the majority of Semites on earth are... the Arabs. Israel is indeed democratic, modeled after America, yet it is going through a long McCarthy-like period internally and treats minorities, both within and outside, as authoritarily as its protector does.
