Max Mouhalos faces the most terrifying place he has ever seen in his life: South Ridge Middle School. His new school has many fantastic elements, but also a huge problem; Doug Thurston, also known as "Bully," the bully who has a hobby of locking Max in his locker. Max wishes he could be like the hero in his favorite comic. Unfortunately, his only ability to smell pizza from a block away can't harm the bad guys. That doesn't mean Max won't do his best to become the hero his school needs!
