    I use it for Time Machine backup. It is very fast, which serves excellently or functionally if you prefer, especially in the Restore from Time Machine backup routine.

    And of course, with the arrival of version 11 Big Sur, the specifications of Time Machine.app now require an SSD drive in order for the backup routine to run reliably.
