The search for the perfect image can take you anywhere. Get there with the powerful, versatile, and fully connected Nikon D7500. Capture the beauty you encounter thanks to the top-tier DX image quality, the same as that of the Nikon D500.

Enhance Your Ambitions. Top Model D500 Image Quality

Here. Or there. In the dark or in the light. Capture the shot of a lifetime. 20.9 MP DX-format sensor. EXPEED 5. 180K-pixel RGB metering sensor. The D7500 creates exceptionally clear images with great sharpness and smooth tonal gradations. You will enjoy impressive subject recognition accuracy and top performance at high ISO sensitivities. You will be amazed by the quality of the 4K/UHD video footage.

Ready for the night. Top light sensitivity

Excellent quality in low light. Featuring ISO 100-51200 that can be extended up to ISO 1640000 (equivalent), the D7500 is not afraid of the dark. The fast EXPEED 5 processor ensures unique image quality across the entire ISO range. Noise at optimal quality has been significantly reduced, and even cropped images taken at high ISO values retain their quality. The Hi 5 setting allows you to shoot at the exceptional ISO 1640000 (equivalent) setting and make the most of the available light.

Capture details perfectly. Unique subject recognition

Perfect exposures and dynamic compositions. RGB 180K-pixel metering sensor and Advanced Scene Recognition System. The camera's RGB 180K-pixel metering sensor combined with the Advanced Scene Recognition System ensures that you can achieve the shots you want, even when the scenes include smaller or faster-moving subjects.

Clarity. Top AF Precision

Whatever your subject, the 51-point AF system tracks it, locks onto it, and keeps it in focus. Even with moonlight as the only source of illumination.
The AF system includes 15 central cross-type sensors and offers accuracy up to -3 EV. You can capture exceptionally sharp night shots without the need for additional lighting.

Add a cinematic touch to your style. 4K/UHD video shots

Take your videos to the next level. Record in ultra-high resolution detail at speeds of up to 30 frames per second (fps). Capture stunning 4K/UHD 30p footage or record Full HD (1080p) videos at frame rates of up to 50p/60p. The camera includes clean HDMI output: there is even the possibility of uncompressed HDMI output simultaneously to an external device and the camera's SD memory card.

Capture the changes. Time-lapse video

Transform street scenes and sunrise captures into dramatic high-speed sequences thanks to the built-in interval timer and 4K/UHD quality time-lapse function. Easily create 4K/UHD and Full HD quality time-lapse videos within the camera.

Your moment belongs to you. Continuous shooting at 8 frames per second (fps)

Achieve the perfect shot even if it's hidden within intense motion. Capture up to 50 NEF (RAW) photos or 100 JPEG images in a high-speed burst. You'll never miss that moment that sets the tone of the event again. Shoot at a speed of approximately 8 frames per second (fps) for about 50 frames in 14-bit lossless compressed RAW.

I come from the Nikon D3500. The difference in image quality (especially at high ISO) is noticeable; you can shoot at ISO 6400 without noise at night. It is user-friendly and the build quality is sturdy and premium. I have used the following lenses on the body of the camera: Nikon 18-55vr, Nikon 10-20vr, Nikon 35mm f1.8, Tamron 18-270mm. The photos with the D7500 body appear brighter and with a bit more sharpness compared to the D3500. I didn't switch to mirrorless due to the lenses and because many forums say that with the adapter, stabilization decreases. Of course, another reason is the price. I am satisfied with my purchase. The difference from the D3500 is significant on all levels, and that matters to me. The only downside is the weight, but over time you get used to it. It is not recommended for people who are just starting their journey because it is an old model.

This review is about the bundle: Kit (AF-S DX 18-140mm F3.5-5.6G ED VR)

It is my first DSLR even though I had experience in digital photography.
Its capabilities significantly exceed my needs, however, for amateur and family use, it is super.
A little caution with video recording - it is good for the camera to be stationary, therefore it does not replace a videocamera without a tripod or stable support.
On the downside, I would say it is a bit heavy to carry around all the time. It is better to have a backpack rather than a shoulder bag.

Coming from the D7100, the 7500 retains the basic features. I think the build quality is better than the 7100, as well as the low-light shooting capabilities. Now the dealership only sells it with the kit, but you can get the body without a lens from various stores with photographic equipment. The D7600 has been announced, but it has not been released on the market yet due to the situation with the coronavirus.

Excellent camera. Excellent in low light conditions, especially at night with high ISO it is flawless. Very good grip, good AF, fast focusing. I had the 7200, but I consider this one better. It is important that it has a touch screen, although I would like it to have better menu navigation through the touch screen. The menu is user-friendly and easy to understand, just like in the 7200. Very good ergonomics. The external buttons, such as the AE-FL, the Fn button, the ISO button, and the rest are very convenient. I think the body is resistant to difficult conditions, such as dust and even rain. I highly recommend it.

Excellent camera, I have had it for 1 month for amateur use, but it can definitely do much more. If someone gets out of auto mode and learns to handle it, they will understand what I mean. Unfortunately, I am still using a kit lens, but I believe with a prime lens like a 50mm 1.8, it will do wonders... very clear photos. The ISO, even at 6400, will produce satisfactory photos. Therefore, the goal is d850 haha

They had the D3300 and I had been thinking for 2 years to upgrade it but I was hesitant to spend so much money again for a crop camera... Two words describe the D7500, shock and awe!!!
Very good build quality (I was a bit disappointed with the focusing button that is not nickel) sturdy body unfortunately heavier than my old one but it fits nicely in the hand, finally it has a bunch of shortcuts on the buttons so you don't have to look at the screen, endless settings and incredibly fast buffer. It has better ISO management in low light shots with less noise and it still has a lot to teach me. I stayed with a dx body because I have bought dx lenses and I didn't regret it for a moment!!!
Since I have it for only a week, I will review it again in the future.
Attention, I bought it from a store on skroutz and the box was sealed with a sticker, 2 years warranty from Nikon's Greek representative (so you know how the box should be)

My previous camera was the Nikon D5300. Day and night difference. There is no comparison in any aspect. For night shots, there is no discussion at all. I will only mention the weight and the grip, which are negatively commented on. It doesn't create any problem for me, neither the grip nor the weight, under normal conditions. Even the view through the viewfinder is significantly different from other Nikon DX cameras. Whoever finds it for under 1000 euros, just get it blindly.

I come from the D3200, one camera is night and day compared to the other.
The camera is superb, whatever I say is not enough. Highly recommended.

Good evening!!! It's my turn to write about this camera, first of all, I switched from Sony a5000! Well, day and night, literally.....
    Very good grip
    Very clean resolution
    Perfect for night shots
Very good foldable + touch screen
As for the negatives, I don't have anything to add yet....

  • I come from the Nikon D3500.
