The present 2nd edition of the fundamental work "European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) - Article-by-Article Interpretation" is updated and enriched with references to over 500 rigorously selected decisions from the years 2013-2016. The ECHR penetrates all individual branches of national law and constitutes an integral part of current judicial and legal practice. The work is the culmination of the collective effort of 11 distinguished scholars, familiar with the ECHR, under the direction of Mr. Linos-Alexandros Sisilianou, Professor at the Law School of EKPA, for the detailed commentary on all substantive provisions protected by the ECHR system, as well as the provisions related to the process of individual applications.
