Prefer a closed space or if that's not possible, at least work in the shade and make sure there is no wind. Suggestion: After the final sanding and cleaning, you can apply Antisil 770 and paint immediately after. Antisil 770 removes any stain or grease that may be on the surface. The headlights are as old as the car, 22 years. Now I have to see how long it lasts.

With the 2nd attempt, I had a good result on a 20-year-old car with very yellow headlights (my mistake for not photographing the "before"). The 1st time I failed because the sanding was not very good, using 3 sizes of sandpaper 800-1200-1500. I realized that many sizes of sandpaper are needed (I used 600-800-1000-1200-1500-2000-3000) and very good sanding (I sanded each headlight for over an hour by hand). In the final sanding (3000), the surface of the headlight when wet (photo 1) should be quite shiny; do not expect the varnish to work miracles and polish a poorly sanded headlight. I let it dry (photo 2) and applied 2 layers of varnish in opposite directions (vertical and horizontal), the result is in photo 3. I imagine using a sander instead of hand sanding would yield better results and of course much faster. How long the varnish will last, I don't know..
Με την 2η προσπάθεια, είχα καλό αποτέλεσμα σε αυτοκίνητο 20ετίας με πολύ κίτρινα φανάρια (σφάλμα μου που δεν φωτογράφισα το «πριν»).
Την 1η φορά απέτυχα, διότι το τρίψιμο δεν ήταν πολύ καλό, 3 μεγέθη γυαλόχαρτου 800-1200-1500. Κατάλαβα, ότι χρειάζονται πολλά μεγέθη γυαλόχαρτου (χρησιμοποίησα 600-800-1000-1200-1500-2000-3000) και πολύ καλό τρίψιμο (1+ ώρα έτριβα το κάθε φανάρι, με το χέρι).
Στο τελευταίο τρίψιμο (3000) η επιφάνεια του φαναριού όταν είναι βρεγμένο (φώτο 1) πρέπει να είναι αρκετά γυαλιστερή, μην περιμένετε να κάνει θαύμα το βερνίκι και να γυαλίσει ένα κακοτριμένο φανάρι. Το άφησα να στεγνώσει (φώτο 2) και το πέρασα 2 στρώσεις βερνίκι με αντίθετες κατευθύνσεις (κάθετα και οριζόντια), το αποτέλεσμα είναι στην φώτο 3.
Φαντάζομαι με τριβείο αντί για τρίψιμο με το χέρι, θα γινόταν καλύτερο και φυσικά πολύ πιο γρήγορα. Πόσο θα αντέξει το βερνίκι, δεν ξέρω…
Right before and left after!! Don't listen to the negative reviews, they just don't know how to use it! Rub for 5 minutes with 800 grit sandpaper, clean with water, then 1500 and finally 2000 grit sandpaper, let it dry, apply two coats of varnish, and voila, the result is 30 minutes of work!!! Τριψτε 5 λεπτα με 800αρι γυαλοχαρτο καθαρισμα με νερο μετα 1500 και τελος 2000 καθαρισμα στεγνωμα δυο χερια βερνικι και ιδου το αποτελεσμα 30 λεπτα δουλειας!!! Αν μπορουσα να βαλω ολα τα αστερια του ουρανου στην αξιολογηση θα τα εβαζα!

Because it was a period with rain, the lights came out before rubbing/spraying. In a closed room temperature of around 22 degrees, it takes more than 2 hours to solidify.

Επειδή ήταν περίοδος με βροχές βγήκαν τα φανάρια πριν το τρίψιμο/ψεκασμα.
Σε θερμοκρασία κλειστού χώρου γύρω στους 22 χρειάζονται παραπάνω από 2 ώρες για να στερεοποιηθεί.
Αρκετά ευχαριστημένος από το αποτέλεσμα, ο χρόνος μένει να δείξει πόσο θα κρατήσει.

Βάζω ένα αστέρι γιατί δεν μπορώ να βάλω κανένα , μια αθλιότητα , μου έκανε το φανάρι χειρότερο από ότι ήταν
The product is nothing less than what it claims to be, headlight clear coat. If you want an easy solution, it's not for you. It requires preparation with wet sanding using 4-5 sandpapers, a clean space, and patience. The downside is that it takes relatively long to dry, and even after the recommended 2 hours before putting the headlight back on the car, it is still quite "wet," which concerns me for any dust that might stick to it, similar to the issue with 1k varnishes. Surely, the result will last longer than the outside buffing with regular waxing. Time will tell. Also, wash it after AT LEAST one week and no rubbing, otherwise it will become sticky. DO NOT APPLY IT IF IT'S RAINY. Another positive is that it does not require polishing with a rubbing compound after drying (not that it's possible without waiting for about 2 weeks) because it spreads without leaving an orange peel texture.
Edit: After one month, I conclude that this particular product is not worth its money, effort, and time. It reacts to cleaning products, becomes cloudy, and sticks to external conditions. Additionally, it never hardens properly, so if any liquid falls on the headlight after a month and you try to clean it, it sticks and leaves marks. It should be noted that the usage instructions were followed correctly.
Το προιον δεν ειναι κατι λιγοτερο απο αυτο που λεει, headlight clear coat, αν θες ευκολη λυση δεν ειναι για σενα, θελει προετοιμασια wet sanding με 4-5 ντουκοχαρτα, καθαρο χωρο, υπομονη. Το κακο ειναι οτι αργει σχετικα να στεγνωσει και ακομη και μετα απο 2 ωρες που ειναι ο προτεινωμενος χρονος πριν μπει το φαναρι παλι στο αμαξι ειναι αρκετα "νωπο" κατι που με προβληματιζει για σκονες που τυχων θα κολλησουν πανω, το ιδιο προβλημα που εχουν τα 1k βερνικια. Σιγουρα το αποτελεσμα θα κρατησει παραπανω απο τα ξεθαμπωματα που κανουν εξω με απλο κερωμα. Ο χρονος θα δειξει. Επισης πλυσιμο μετα απο ΤΟΥΛΑΧΙΣΤΟΝ μια βδομαδα και καθολου τριψιμο αλλιως θα γινει τσιχλα, ΜΗΝ ΤΟ ΠΕΡΑΣΕΤΕ ΑΝ ΕΙΝΑΙ ΒΡΟΧΕΡΕΣ ΟΙ ΜΕΡΕΣ. Αλλο ενα θετικο ειναι οτι ΔΕΝ χρειαζεται γυαλισμα αλοιφαδορο μετα το στεγνωμα (οχι πως γινεται αν δεν περασει ενα 2βδομαδο) γιατι απλωνει χωρις να αφηνει υφη φλοιου πορτοκαλιου.
Edit: Μετα απο ενα μηνα καταληγω στο οτι δεν αξιζει τα χρηματα του τον κοπο και τον χρονο το συγκεκριμενο προιον. Αντιδρα σε καθαριστικα θολωνει κολλαει καθως και στις εξωτερικες συνθηκες, επισης δεν σκληραινει ποτε καλα, μετα απο ενα μηνα και το φαναρι αν πεσει πανω του καποιο υγρο και πας να το καθαρισεις κολλαει και αφηνει σημαδια. Να σημειωθεί οτι ακολουθηθηκαν σωστα οι οδηγιες χρησης.

I let it dry (photo 2) and applied 2 layers of varnish in opposite directions (vertical and horizontal), the result is in photo 3. I imagine using a sander instead of hand sanding would yield better results and of course much faster. How long the varnish will last, I don't know..
Με την 2η προσπάθεια, είχα καλό αποτέλεσμα σε αυτοκίνητο 20ετίας με πολύ κίτρινα φανάρια (σφάλμα μου που δεν φωτογράφισα το «πριν»).
Την 1η φορά απέτυχα, διότι το τρίψιμο δεν ήταν πολύ καλό, 3 μεγέθη γυαλόχαρτου 800-1200-1500. Κατάλαβα, ότι χρειάζονται πολλά μεγέθη γυαλόχαρτου (χρησιμοποίησα 600-800-1000-1200-1500-2000-3000) και πολύ καλό τρίψιμο (1+ ώρα έτριβα το κάθε φανάρι, με το χέρι).
Στο τελευταίο τρίψιμο (3000) η επιφάνεια του φαναριού όταν είναι βρεγμένο (φώτο 1) πρέπει να είναι αρκετά γυαλιστερή, μην περιμένετε να κάνει θαύμα το βερνίκι και να γυαλίσει ένα κακοτριμένο φανάρι. Το άφησα να στεγνώσει (φώτο 2) και το πέρασα 2 στρώσεις βερνίκι με αντίθετες κατευθύνσεις (κάθετα και οριζόντια), το αποτέλεσμα είναι στην φώτο 3.
Φαντάζομαι με τριβείο αντί για τρίψιμο με το χέρι, θα γινόταν καλύτερο και φυσικά πολύ πιο γρήγορα. Πόσο θα αντέξει το βερνίκι, δεν ξέρω…

Rub for 5 minutes with 800 grit sandpaper, clean with water, then 1500 and finally 2000 grit sandpaper, let it dry, apply two coats of varnish, and voila, the result is 30 minutes of work!!! Because it was a period with rain, the lights came out before rubbing/spraying. In a closed room temperature of around 22 degrees, it takes more than 2 hours to solidify.
Quite satisfied with the result, time will tell how long it will last. I would recommend it for someone who wants to deal with it.

Επειδή ήταν περίοδος με βροχές βγήκαν τα φανάρια πριν το τρίψιμο/ψεκασμα.
Σε θερμοκρασία κλειστού χώρου γύρω στους 22 χρειάζονται παραπάνω από 2 ώρες για να στερεοποιηθεί.
Αρκετά ευχαριστημένος από το αποτέλεσμα, ο χρόνος μένει να δείξει πόσο θα κρατήσει.

Βάζω ένα αστέρι γιατί δεν μπορώ να βάλω κανένα , μια αθλιότητα , μου έκανε το φανάρι χειρότερο από ότι ήταν
The product is nothing less than what it claims to be, headlight clear coat. If you want an easy solution, it's not for you. It requires preparation with wet sanding using 4-5 sandpapers, a clean space, and patience. The downside is that it takes relatively long to dry, and even after the recommended 2 hours before putting the headlight back on the car, it is still quite "wet," which concerns me for any dust that might stick to it, similar to the issue with 1k varnishes. Surely, the result will last longer than the outside buffing with regular waxing. Time will tell. Also, wash it after AT LEAST one week and no rubbing, otherwise it will become sticky. DO NOT APPLY IT IF IT'S RAINY. Another positive is that it does not require polishing with a rubbing compound after drying (not that it's possible without waiting for about 2 weeks) because it spreads without leaving an orange peel texture.
Edit: After one month, I conclude that this particular product is not worth its money, effort, and time. It reacts to cleaning products, becomes cloudy, and sticks to external conditions. Additionally, it never hardens properly, so if any liquid falls on the headlight after a month and you try to clean it, it sticks and leaves marks. It should be noted that the usage instructions were followed correctly.
Το προιον δεν ειναι κατι λιγοτερο απο αυτο που λεει, headlight clear coat, αν θες ευκολη λυση δεν ειναι για σενα, θελει προετοιμασια wet sanding με 4-5 ντουκοχαρτα, καθαρο χωρο, υπομονη. Το κακο ειναι οτι αργει σχετικα να στεγνωσει και ακομη και μετα απο 2 ωρες που ειναι ο προτεινωμενος χρονος πριν μπει το φαναρι παλι στο αμαξι ειναι αρκετα "νωπο" κατι που με προβληματιζει για σκονες που τυχων θα κολλησουν πανω, το ιδιο προβλημα που εχουν τα 1k βερνικια. Σιγουρα το αποτελεσμα θα κρατησει παραπανω απο τα ξεθαμπωματα που κανουν εξω με απλο κερωμα. Ο χρονος θα δειξει. Επισης πλυσιμο μετα απο ΤΟΥΛΑΧΙΣΤΟΝ μια βδομαδα και καθολου τριψιμο αλλιως θα γινει τσιχλα, ΜΗΝ ΤΟ ΠΕΡΑΣΕΤΕ ΑΝ ΕΙΝΑΙ ΒΡΟΧΕΡΕΣ ΟΙ ΜΕΡΕΣ. Αλλο ενα θετικο ειναι οτι ΔΕΝ χρειαζεται γυαλισμα αλοιφαδορο μετα το στεγνωμα (οχι πως γινεται αν δεν περασει ενα 2βδομαδο) γιατι απλωνει χωρις να αφηνει υφη φλοιου πορτοκαλιου.
Edit: Μετα απο ενα μηνα καταληγω στο οτι δεν αξιζει τα χρηματα του τον κοπο και τον χρονο το συγκεκριμενο προιον. Αντιδρα σε καθαριστικα θολωνει κολλαει καθως και στις εξωτερικες συνθηκες, επισης δεν σκληραινει ποτε καλα, μετα απο ενα μηνα και το φαναρι αν πεσει πανω του καποιο υγρο και πας να το καθαρισεις κολλαει και αφηνει σημαδια. Να σημειωθεί οτι ακολουθηθηκαν σωστα οι οδηγιες χρησης.

Suggestion: After the final sanding and cleaning, you can apply Antisil 770 and paint immediately after. Antisil 770 removes any stain or grease that may be on the surface.
