Everything you need to know to play
The game unfolds in rounds, called Generations. Each Generation consists of four phases. First, the player order is determined, followed by the Research phase, where players acquire new project cards. In the main Action phase, each player may take up to two actions on their turn. These include playing a card, funding a project, using a standard board action, or converting accumulated resources (such as plants into greenery or heat into temperature increase).
The strategy is based on building an efficient resource production engine. Project cards offer unique abilities, from introducing greenhouse gases to constructing space stations. The game ends when the three global parameters (oxygen, temperature, oceans) reach the level that allows humans to live. The player with the highest Terraforming Rating and the most victory points from cards, cities, and achievements is declared the winner.
