This is the first summer I am using it.
I have a fairly large and heavy 16-rib umbrella with thick fabric, with a diameter of 2.2 meters up to the ribs.
With the frills all around, it reaches 2.5 meters.
I have tested it both on sand and on fairly thick pebbles.
Installation really takes one minute.
It seems and I hope it is of good quality; this will show with use over time.
It is truly worth its money.

For two hours the wind was shaking the umbrella, resulting in the base that was stuck in the sand loosening. See at the tenth second how it lifts up and, fortunately, is stuck back into the ground.
Conclusion: in strong wind we also use guy ropes attached to screws we have fastened into the ground.

Very good, the umbrella doesn't go anywhere. It's heavy, but otherwise it wouldn't do what it does. Also, people who are reading or sleeping on the beach (if there are people around) look at you a bit strangely when you stick it into the sand or gravel or even rock because you bang it in loudly, but what can you do, that's how it goes in and it doesn't matter if it's windy.

I got it for the UV umbrella 1.9m diameter, and it fit perfectly. Initially, I had taken the 26-28mm diameter and the umbrella pole only went in up to the plastic, so I changed it for the 30mm. Tool!!

I placed it on a 2.20m Maui Umbrella and in combination with the stakes, it didn't feel anything even with strong winds and gusts. For areas with pebbles, it's a must. The only downside is the weight, but it's reasonable since it's not made of aluminum which can't withstand impacts.

I was a bit skeptical at first mainly because of the cost, but I found it on sale with a 20% refund and bought two. In practice, it is a very good accessory for your umbrella, especially if it has a large diameter and doesn't move at all, it is quite long and heavy so it requires some effort in transportation and also in placing it in the car if you have a small one.

In the positives: easy to use, holds firmly in the ground.
In the negatives: heavy to transport, overpriced.

Guys, it's just amazing. Although the tool is a bit crude (imagine a girl banging it up and down on rocks to make it fit properly, on a crowded beach), it is very convenient because the umbrella doesn't move.
Be aware, it's a bit heavy, but you need it that way to withstand the August wind.

Today first use, with 6 Beaufort, and gusts, as the weather forecast said, winds of 70 kilometers... everyone at the beach was chasing umbrellas... only one didn't move at all... mine!!
