The "University of Citizens" is an institution in which emeritus professors from the University of Athens provide knowledge from various scientific fields, primarily to ordinary citizens.
The first event took place in 2015, organized by professors from the Medical School.
In 2016, it was organized by professors from the Law School, featuring presentations by professors of Commercial Law, Legal History, Civil Law, Criminal Law, Public International Law, and Civil Procedure.
This Collective Volume contains the following lectures by the aforementioned emeritus professors: E. Spiliotopoulos, on "Greek Public Law", P. Peraki on "The Problems of Family Businesses", and N. Klamari on "The Basic Principles Governing Civil Trials".
