Homelands do not die, nor can they be lost from our memory and heart. As long as we belong to these homelands, so do they belong to us.

We cannot erase our history, our traditions, our hagiography, and our martyrdom. We can only add tiles to our effort to compose the mosaic from the sorrow of Hellenism.

Let this book be another tile of love for the homelands of the East.
