The BEST tires for scooters. They help a lot in absorbing road imperfections, have good grip even on wet surfaces, and great durability over time. The entire behavior of the scooter changes for the better, becoming more comfortable and safer. I recommend them 100%. (P.S. Τα ΚΑΛΥΤΕΡΑ λάστιχα για σκούτερ. Βοηθούν πολύ στην απόσβεση των ανωμαλιών του δρόμου έχουν καλό κράτημα και σε βρεγμένο και μεγάλη αντοχή στο χρόνο. Αλλαζει προς το καλύτερο όλη η συμπεριφορά του σκούτερ και γίνεται ποιο άνετο και ασφαλές. Τα συνιστώ 100%. (υ.γ. τα έχω βάλει ήδη σε 4 σκούτερ και πάντα απόλυτα ευχαριστημένος)
So far, as a first impression since I have about 500km.
Although it has a harder frame than the City Grip2 I had, it is more comfortable and soft. When it heats up well, the bike seems to weigh down and stick to the asphalt.
120/70/14 55P front, 140/60/13 63P rear. The City Grip2 had a load and speed index of 61S front, 63S rear. So it was wrong for mine. I will return after 5000km for a more complete review.
Μέχρι στιγμής σαν πρώτη εικόνα μιας και έχω περί τα 500χλμ.
Αν και έχει σκληρότερο σκελετό από τα ,, City Grip2 που είχα είναι πιο άνετο και μαλακό. Όταν ζεσταθεί καλά, μοιάζει το μηχανάκι σαν να βαραίνει και να κολλάει στην άσφαλτο.
120/70/14 55P μπροστά, 140/60/13 63P για πίσω. Τα City Grip2 είχαν δείκτη φορτίου και ταχύτητας 61S μπροστά, 63S πίσω. Άρα ήταν λάθος για το δικό μου. Θα επανέλθω μετά από 5000χλμ για πιο ολοκληρωμένη κριτική.
I don't know why some people above say that these tires are dangerous.. mounted on a 2014 Burgman 400, I lean until I find the plastics.. 6k kilometers mostly outside the city on provincial roads with curves and rough asphalt, they are there when you need them and in critical situations.. and in the wet, they perform well in braking and everything.. previous Dunlop tires wouldn't let you lean even with a request
Δεν ξέρω γιατί κάποιοι πιο πάνω λένε ότι είναι επικίνδυνα τα συγκεκριμένα λάστιχα..φορεμένα σε burgman 400 του 2014 στρίβω μέχρι να βρώ πλαστικά..6κ χιλιόμετρα τα περισσότερα εκτός πόλης σε επαρχιακούς δρόμους με στροφές και κακοτραχυλη άσφαλτο είναι εκεί απικο όταν τα χρειάζεσαι και σε οριακές καταστάσεις..και σε βρεγμένο μια χαρά και στο φρενάρισμα και σε όλα..προηγούμενα λάστιχα Dunlop κ δεν έστριβες ούτε με αίτηση
I have been wearing them for 7000 kilometers now and they are not what I expected. They slip a lot on dry surfaces, but perform better on wet ones. I have no complaints about comfort. I will replace them because as they wear out, the condition worsens. I probably won't wear them again, I'm still looking for what to wear.
Τα φοράω για 7000 χλμ. τώρα και δεν είναι αυτό που περίμενα. Γλιστράνε πολύ στο στεγνό στο βρεγμένο τα πάνε καλύτερα, από άνεση δεν είχα παράπονα. Θα τα αντικαταστήσω γιατί όσο φθείρονται τόσο χειροτερεύει η κατάσταση. Δέν θα τα ξαναφορέσω μάλλον, ακόμα το ψάχνω τι να βάλω.
I put them on a tourer 400 for everyday use and the first 6 months were relatively, let's say, good. After 2,500 km, they were garbage on wet roads, I was almost afraid to drive...
I never felt completely safe...

The best tire I have put on a scooter and have tried everything....in wet conditions, as many claim, it performs very well...I have had them for 5 years and they still hold up perfectly, they need to be replaced because cracks have started to appear, but they have never let me down in sudden braking.....of course, I don't push them to the limit in turns...The city grip tires I had afterwards would skate after a while.....
το καλύτερο ελαστικό που έχω βάλει σε σκούτερ και έχω δοκιμάσει τα πάντα....σε βρεγμένο όπως γράφουν αρκετοί συμπεριφέρεται πολύ καλά...τα έχω 5 χρόνια και ακόμη κρατάνε άψογα θέλουν αλλαγή διότι άρχισαν οι ρωγμές δεν με έχει προδώσει ποτέ σε ξαφνικά φρεναρίσματα..... βέβαια δεν πάω στα όρια σε στροφές...Τα city grip που είχα μετά από καιρό κάνεις πατινάζ.....
I had to buy Pirelli tires for my first car because I knew that we were not talking about tires but about ice skates. I bought a used scooter and it has them on, they have done about 10,000 kilometers and they are from 2021. Είχα να αγοράσω pireli από το πρώτο μου αμάξι γιατί ήξερα ότι μιλάμε όχι για λάστιχα αλλά για παγοπέδιλα πήρα σκούτερ μεταχειρισμένο και τα έχει πάνω έχουν κάνει περίπου 10.000 και είναι του 21 εγώ με το σκούτερ έχω κάνει 2.000 και έχουν ακόμα αρκετό πέλμα αλλά έχω γλυστρησει είδη 3 φορές χωρίς να τρέχω ότι χειρότερο σε ελαστικό

Very mediocre tire! While on wet asphalt you feel stability and safety, on dry it easily slips and skids. The Michelin ones I had were much better in every aspect. I wear them on a Piaggio Medley 150 for delivery use!

Worn on a Symphony 125 since the summer of '22, I have done 6000 km and they are very good on both dry and wet roads. I have no complaints about braking in all driving conditions, even with a passenger.
φορεμένα σε symphony 125 από το καλοκαίρι του 22 έχω κάνει 6000χλμ και είναι πολύ εντάξει σε στεγνό και βρεγμένο οδόστρωμα. Στο φρενάρισμα δεν έχω κανένα παράπονο σε όλες τις συνθήκες οδήγησης ακόμα και με δικαβαλο.
Purchased in April 2021, a year and a half ago, following the insistence of the tire dealer to use these due to the unavailability of Michelin because of the pandemic. However, there were many stores on Skroutz with available Michelin, but I was in a hurry to change them because I was passing the MOT and had Michelin from 2012, so I decided to try the Pirelli. They were installed on an Aprilia Atlantic 300 (which is 160 kg, one of the lightest, most agile, and "fastest" scooters I've driven in the 300cc category), but I only have experience with Michelin in this size, so inevitably I compare them. Dimensions: rear 130/70/13 and front 110/90/13.
My impression when I installed them: They are relatively soft tires, comfortable. The same when they start to slip, they do it a bit smoothly. They behave well in water as long as the road is not smooth and the water is not too little; in such cases, they slip more easily. They are also quiet, with good rolling quality.
My impression of the tires today after 1.5 years and 6000 km: They have hardened, not as soft as initially. They slip much more on dry surfaces than when I installed them, especially if they sit unused for a few days, and the front slips first, causing a bit of a scare; they don't slip together as I was used to with the previous tires. They remain quiet with good rolling quality. They need pressure checks every 2 months as they lose 3-4 psi. Finally, winter hasn't come yet to see how they behave in a lot of water.
Compared to the Michelin City Grip I had: The Michelin are a bit harder but sharper in driving, slip later (with more kilometers, at least +10km/h), and perhaps a bit more abruptly compared to the Pirelli. They have the same rolling quality in the center, the Pirelli are a bit more comfortable and quiet when leaning. In a lot of water, the Pirelli will hydroplane more easily. The Michelin wear a bit more in the center compared to the Pirelli when covering many kilometers upright (e.g., highway). I rarely check their pressure because they don't lose air, maybe add 2psi every 6 months. Finally, the Michelin City Grip 2 (the new model) I have on another 300cc scooter (SYM GTS 300) has an M+S indication, suitable for winter conditions (mud, snow, a lot of water) with all the positives that entail, except that they wear out a bit faster (the scooter is also heavy, 192 kg and almost always slightly loaded as I do "upright" trips with it).
Conclusion: I probably wouldn't buy them again for the swift city driving I do with the Aprilia Atlantic 300. They might be more suited to the SYM GTS 300, i.e., more "touristic" use where I would seek a more comfortable tire that can withstand straights and not have many grip demands, etc. They are also a bit more expensive than other brands, even though they are made in "economical" Indonesia. (The Michelin City Grip I had were made in Spain, while the new model, the City Grip 2 M+S, is made in Serbia)
Update March 2023, after 2 years: The tires have dried out even more, slip even more easily on poor road surfaces. They don't shed water enough, hydroplaning comes faster than expected, they are okay in moderate water, but in relatively a lot of water or puddles, they literally go over the water, and you lose control. It now seems logical since the grooves on the tire are quite narrow/small and almost perpendicular to the tire's rolling. On the contrary, the Michelin City Grip 2 that I have on my other scooter perform excellently even on wet surfaces. You can lean as much as you want on good asphalt no matter how much it rains, you go through puddles and it doesn't feel a thing. In the rain, I comfortably hit 120km/h and more without fear, and they haven't dried out even though they are 3 years old compared to the 2 years I have the Pirelli. From what I understand, tire dealers push to "promote" the Pirelli, which are from Indonesia and logically should be much cheaper, but don't be fooled, they're not worth it!
Update 11/2024:
This year I used them a bit more, I did... 3,000 km within the year! :) I can now "correct" the drying I felt, which is obviously from the inactivity I have. On good asphalt where I ride and on open roads, it behaves well. However, the Michelin "cleans" faster after inactivity and generally remains sharper, showing its limits more clearly, unlike the Pirelli where you don't know when it will slip on bad asphalt or water. In the end, for winter and a good feel at the limits, I would choose the Michelin, while for more touring use and comfort avoiding bad asphalt and a lot of water, I would choose the Pirelli. However, I am still puzzled by the fact that the Pirelli are more expensive than the Michelin. Anyway, on my 125 scooter with 12-inch wheels, I put Michelin City Grip 2 and I don't regret it! (I also paid 25 euros less compared to the Pirelli)

After 4 years and 8000 km, I am now looking for traction control on the 300cc scooter even though it only has 23 horsepower. Every time I open the throttle in my city with the average asphalt, if I don't open the throttle gently, the rear tire will skid mercilessly from 0 to 40 km/h. It slips a lot on sudden throttle openings! Fortunately, overall it's not that bad, although a new element is that they have started to crack and cut in many places. On the heavier and more powerful SYM GTS 300, the rear Michelin City Grip 2 doesn't spin even though it has 29 horsepower and is much more powerful, but the tread of the rear tire has started to "wear down" significantly after 5 years and 10,000 km mainly on provincial roads. Overall, I prefer the Michelin, you feel constant stable traction, they have limits that you know, while with other tires there are moments when you don't know if it will hold or slip, and believe me, the difference in safety you feel with the Michelin compared to other tires is significant. Especially in heavy rain at high speeds, I consider the choice of Michelin a one-way street.

Ωστόσο στο Σκρουτζ είχε πολλά καταστήματα με διαθέσιμα Michelin αλλά βιαζόμουν να τα αλλάξω γιατί περνούσα ΚΤΕΟ και είχα πάνω Michelin του 2012 οπότε είπα να δοκιμάσω τα Pirelli. Τοποθετήθηκαν σε Aprilia Atlantic 300 (το οποίο είναι 160 κιλά, από τα πιο ελαφριά, ευέλικτα και "γρήγορα" σκούτερ που έχω οδηγήσει στην κατηγορία των 300αριών) αλλά έχω εμπειρία μόνο με Michelin σε αυτή την διάσταση οπότε αναπόφευκτα κάνω σύγκριση με αυτά. Διαστάσεις: πίσω 130/70/13 και μπροστά 110/90/13.
Η εικόνα μου όταν τα τοποθέτησα: Είναι σχετικά μαλακά λάστιχα, άνετα. Το ίδιο και όταν αρχίζουν να γλιστράνε, το κάνουν λίγο γλυκά. Στο νερό έχουν καλή συμπεριφορά αρκεί να μη μην είναι λείος ο δρόμος και λίγο το νερό, εκεί γλιστρούν πιο εύκολα. Είναι και αθόρυβα, έχουν καλή ποιότητα κύλισης.
Η εικόνα που έχω για τα λάστιχα σήμερα μετά από 1μιση χρόνο και 6000 χλμ. Έχουν σκληρύνει, δεν είναι τόσο μαλακά όσο στην αρχή. Γλιστρούν αρκετά περισσότερο στο στεγνό από ότι όταν τα τοποθέτησα, ειδικά αν κάτσουν λίγες ημέρες χωρίς χρήση και πρώτο φεύγει το μπροστινό με αποτέλεσμα να τρομάζει λίγο, δε γλιστρούν και τα δύο μαζί όπως είχα συνηθίσει με τα προηγούμενα λάστιχα. Παραμένουν αθόρυβα και με καλή ποιότητα κύλισης. Χρειάζονται έλεγχο στην πίεση κάθε 2 μήνες καθώς χάνουν 3-4 psi. Τέλος, δεν έχει μπει ακόμα ο χειμώνας για να δω πως συμπεριφέρονται πλέον στο πολύ νερό.
Σε σχέση με τα Michelin City Grip που είχα: Τα Michelin είναι λίγο πιο σκληρά αλλά πιο ξυράφι στην οδήγηση, γλιστρούν αργότερα (με περισσότερα χιλιόμετρα, τουλάχιστον +10χλμ/ώρα) και ίσως λίγο πιο απότομα σε σχέση με τα Pirelli. Έχουν την ίδια ποιότητα κύλισης στο κέντρο, τα Pirelli είναι λίγο πιο άνετα και ήσυχα στο πλάγιασμα. Στο πολύ νερό τα Pirelli θα φτάσουν σε υδρολίσθηση πιο εύκολα. Τα Michelin φαγώνονται λίγο περισσότερο στο κέντρο σε σχέση με τα Pirelli όταν διανύεις πολλά χιλιόμετρα όρθιος (πχ εθνική οδός). Σπάνια ελέγχω την πίεσή τους γιατί δε χάνουν αέρα, ίσως να βάλω 2psi στο 6μηνο. Τέλος, τα Michelin City Grip 2 (το καινούριο μοντέλο) που έχω σε άλλο 300άρι σκούτερ (SYM GTS 300) έχουν ένδειξη M+S, κατάλληλα για χειμερινές συνθήκες (λάσπη, χιόνι, πολύ νερό) με όλα τα θετικά που συνεπάγεται πλην του ότι φθείρονται λίγο πιο γρήγορα (είναι και βαρύ το σκούτερ όμως, 192 κιλά και σχεδόν πάντα ελαφρώς φορτωμένο μιας και με αυτό κάνω "όρθια" ταξίδια).
Συμπέρασμα. Μάλλον δε θα τα αγόραζα ξανά για την σβέλτη οδήγηση στην πόλη που κάνω με το Aprilia Atlantic 300. Ίσως να ταίριαζαν πιο πολύ στο SYM GTS 300, δηλαδή σε πιο "τουριστική" χρήση όπου θα αναζητούσα ένα πιο άνετο λάστιχο που και να αντέχει στις ευθείες και να μην έχω πολλές απαιτήσεις κρατήματος κλπ. Είναι και λίγο πιο ακριβά από άλλες μάρκες κι ας φτιάχνονται στην "οικονομική" Ινδονησία. (Τα Michelin City Grip που είχα φτιάχνονται στην Ισπανία ενώ το καινούριο μοντέλο το City Grip 2 M+S, στην Σερβία)
Update Μάρτιος 2023, μετά από 2 χρόνια: Τα λάστιχα έχουν ξεραθεί ακόμα περισσότερο, γλιστρούν ακόμα ευκολότερα σε κακό οδόστρωμα. Δεν διώχνουν το νερό αρκετά, η υδρολίσθηση έρχεται πιο γρήγορα από όσο περίμενα, στο μέτριο νερό είναι οκ, στο σχετικά πολύ νερό ή σε λακούβες κυριολεκτικά περνάει από πάνω από το νερό και χάνεις τα αυγά και τα πασχάλια. Πλέον μου φαίνεται λογικό αφού τα αυλάκια στο λάστιχο είναι αρκετά στενά/μικρά και σχεδόν κάθετα στην κύλιση του λάστιχου. Αντιθέτως τα Michelin City Grip 2 που έχω στο άλλο σκούτερ μου πάνε αέρα ακόμα και στο βρεγμένο, πλαγιάζεις όσο θες σε καλή άσφαλτο όσο κι αν βρέχει, περνάς από λακούβες με νερά και δεν καταλαβαίνει τίποτα, σε βροχή χτυπάω άνετα 120km/h και βάλε χωρίς να φοβάμαι, ούτε έχουν ξεραθεί αν και είναι 3 ετών αντί για 2 που έχω τα Pirelli. Από ότι έχω καταλάβει οι λαστιχάδες πιέζουν για να "σπρώχνουν" τα Pirelli τα οποία είναι Ινδονησίας και λογικά θα έπρεπε να ήταν και αρκετά φτηνότερα αλλά μη τσιμπάτε, δεν αξίζουν!
Update 11/2024:
Φέτος τα δούλεψα λίγο περισσότερο, έκανα... 3.000χλμ μέσα στο έτος! :) Μπορώ πλέον να "διορθώσω" το ξέραμα που ένιωθα που προφανώς είναι από τις ακινησίες που κάνω. Σε καλή άσφαλτο που κινούμαι και σε ανοικτό δρόμο συμπεριφέρεται καλά. Ωστόσο το Michelin "καθαρίζει" πιο γρήγορα μετά την ακινησία και γενικά παραμένει πιο ξυράφι, σου δείχνει τα όριά του πιο ξεκάθαρα σε αντίθεση με το Pirelli που δεν ξέρεις πότε θα γλιστρήσει σε κακή άσφαλτο ή σε νερό.. Τελικά, για χειμώνα και καλή αίσθηση στα όρια θα διάλεγα τα Michelin ενώ για πιο τουριστική χρήση και για άνεση αποφεύγοντας κακή άσφαλτο και πολύ νερό θα διάλεγα τα Pirelli. Ωστόσο ακόμα με προβληματίζει το ότι είναι πιο ακριβά τα Pirelli από τα Michelin. Πάντως, σε 125 σκούτερ μου με 12άρηδες τροχούς έβαλα Michelin City Grip 2 και δε το μετανιώνω! (Έδωσα και 25 ευρώ λιγότερα σε σχέση με τα Pirelli)

Μετά από 4 χρόνια και 8000 χλμ πλέον αναζητώ traction control στο 300άρι σκούτερ κι ας έχει μόνο 23 ίππους. Σε κάθε άνοιγμα του γκαζιού στην πόλη μου με την μέτρια άσφαλτο, αν δεν ανοίξω γλυκά το γκάζι το πίσω λάστιχο θα κάνει ανελέητα μπαντιλίκια από τα 0 ως τα 40χλμ/ώρα. Γλιστράει πολύ στο απότομο άνοιγμα του γκαζιού! Ευτυχώς συνολικά δεν είναι τόσο χάλια αν και ένα νέο στοιχείο είναι πως έχουν αρχίσει να κάνουν ρωγμές και να κόβουν σε πολλά σημεία. Στο βαρύτερο και πιο δυνατό SYM GTS 300 το πίσω Michelin City Grip 2 δεν σπινάρει κι ας έχει 29 ίππους και είναι πολύ πιο δυνατό αλλά το πέλμα του πίσω ελαστικού έχει αρχίσει να "κατεβαίνει" αρκετά μετά από 5 χρόνια και 10.000 χλμ κυρίως σε επαρχιακούς δρόμους. Συνολικά προτιμώ τα Michelin, νιώθεις μόνιμα σταθερή πρόσφυση, έχουν όρια που τα ξέρεις ενώ με άλλα λάστιχα υπάρχουν στιγμές που δε ξέρεις αν θα κρατήσει ή αν θα γλιστρήσει και πιστέψτε με, η διαφορά στην ασφάλεια που νιώθεις με τα Michelin σε σχέση με άλλα λάστιχα είναι μεγάλη. Ειδικά στην πολλή βροχή με μεγάλες ταχύτητες θεωρώ μονόδρομο την επιλογή των Michelin.
sym citycom 20,000 km 4+ years not so much in use in the city and they are very good even though I will replace them with the same ones. They don't wear out, especially the rear. It impresses me that after so many years there are no cracks or sunburn marks, even though it wasn't in a shady area.
20/10/23 32,500 km, 5 years and I still have them because they last, they didn't betray me in braking, turning, or slipping. No tears or cracks. Especially the rear feels like it's lightly used. It's logical for the performance to have decreased, but... I had changed two other brands in 3 years due to excessive wear and dangerous driving. They will be replaced in the spring, no matter what

20/10/23 32.500 χιλ .5 χρονια κ συνεχιζω να τα εχω λογο οτι κρατανε,δε με προδωσανε σε φρένο ,στροφη γλυστρημα . σκισιματα ραγισματα μηδεν.ειδικα το πισω ειναι σα ελαφρος μεταχειρισμένο .λογικο η αποδοση να επεσε αλλα ...αλλες 2 μαρκες τις ειχα αλλαξει σε 3 χρονια λογο μεγαλης φθορας κ επικίνδυνα στην οδηγηση .ανοιξη θα αλλαχτουν οπως κ να χει βεβαια
From these specific tires, I was very satisfied. For me, they are the best I have tried on my scooter (People 300gti). I have also tried Metzeler and Dunlop, but these tires lasted me 40,000 km. Of course, their performance decreases after the first year (I ride about 10,000-12,000 km per year). Now they are worn out and need to be replaced. If you let go of the handlebars, even with a few kilometers, it's a crazy gamble. I am considering either getting the same tires again or trying the City Grip 2 (I haven't heard good things about the first one, but they say the second one is better). I will see...
Απο τα συγκεκριμενα λαστιχα εμεινα πολυ ευχαριστημενος για μενα οτι καλυτερο εχω δοκιμασει στο σκουτερ(people 300gti) και ειχα και μετζελερ και ντανλοπ...μου εβγαλαν 40000 km εννοειται οτι η αποδοση τους μετα τον πρωτο χρονο ειναι πτωτικη(περιπου 10000-12000 ανα ετος κανω) βεβαια τωρα ειναι πεθαμενα και πανε για αλλαγη (αν αφησεις τα χερια απο το τιμονι ακομη και με λιγα χιλιομετρα σκοτωθηκες εχει πλεον τρελο τζογο)σκεφτομαι ή τα ιδια ή city grip2(για τα 1 δεν ειχα ακουσει καλα λογια αλλα για τα 2 λενε καλυτερα) θα δω...

This specific tire is only good for one year, and they burn very easily! The moment I put them on, they had very good grip on both dry and wet surfaces. I was recommended them by a store that supplies all brands. They are not factory-made and I had some hesitation at first, but I trusted the name and the fact that they were slightly more expensive than the Michelins that the scooter came with from the factory. I put them on a Vespa GTS super sport. I'm not one of those who leans into the turn with their knee, but I will say the following. The scooter handles better, brakes better, and you really feel like you're sticking to the road. As for durability, I don't know because I've had them for about 1 month, but I remember in the past I had a smaller Vespa ET4 with factory-made Pirellis that lasted 4-5 years, unlike the Michelins that needed to be changed at 3 to 4 years. The time I've had them so far is fantastic, highly recommended.
Μου τα πρότεινε κατάστημα που προμηθεύει όλες τις μάρκες.Δεν είναι τα εργοστασιακά και είχα έναν ενδοιασμό στην αρχή όμως εμπιστεύτηκα το όνομα και το ότι ήταν λίγο πιο ακριβά από Μισελιν που φορούσε το μηχανακι από το εργοστάσιο .Μπηκαν σε βέσπα GTS super sport.Δεν είμαι από αυτούς που μπαίνουν στην στροφή με το γόνατο όμως θα πω τα εξής.Το μηχανάκι στρίβει καλύτερα φρενάρει καλύτερα και νιώθεις πραγματικά ότι βεντουζάρει στο δρόμο.Απο αντοχή δεν ξέρω καθώς τα έχω περίπου 1 μήνα όμως θυμάμαι παλαιότερα είχα μικρότερη βέσπα ΕΤ4 με Πιρελι εργοστασιακά άντεχαν 4-5 χρόνια σε αντίθεση με τα Μισελιν που ήθελαν άλλαγμα στα 3 προς 4.Το διάστημα που τα έχω πάντως είναι φανταστικά προτείνονται ανεπιφύλακτα.
Excellent choice. It changes the behavior of the scooter. These tires are now the only way to go, which is why they are so successful. Especially for scooters with 15" wheels and below, they are the best you can get. The grip in the corners is excellent and they seem to maintain their properties for a long period of time (which is the most important thing, since almost all tires are good at first), unlike other tires from well-known manufacturers.

Although it has a harder frame than the City Grip2 I had, it is more comfortable and soft. When it heats up well, the bike seems to weigh down and stick to the asphalt.
120/70/14 55P front, 140/60/13 63P rear. The City Grip2 had a load and speed index of 61S front, 63S rear. So it was wrong for mine. I will return after 5000km for a more complete review.

I don't know why some people above say that these tires are dangerous.. mounted on a 2014 Burgman 400, I lean until I find the plastics.. 6k kilometers mostly outside the city on provincial roads with curves and rough asphalt, they are there when you need them and in critical situations.. and in the wet, they perform well in braking and everything.. previous Dunlop tires wouldn't let you lean even with a request

I have been wearing them for 7000 kilometers now and they are not what I expected. They slip a lot on dry surfaces, but perform better on wet ones. I have no complaints about comfort. I will replace them because as they wear out, the condition worsens. I probably won't wear them again, I'm still looking for what to wear.

I put them on a tourer 400 for everyday use and the first 6 months were relatively, let's say, good. After 2,500 km, they were garbage on wet roads, I was almost afraid to drive...
I never felt completely safe...

The best tire I have put on a scooter and have tried everything....in wet conditions, as many claim, it performs very well...I have had them for 5 years and they still hold up perfectly, they need to be replaced because cracks have started to appear, but they have never let me down in sudden braking.....of course, I don't push them to the limit in turns...The city grip tires I had afterwards would skate after a while.....

I bought a used scooter and it has them on, they have done about 10,000 kilometers and they are from 2021. Very mediocre tire! While on wet asphalt you feel stability and safety, on dry it easily slips and skids. The Michelin ones I had were much better in every aspect. I wear them on a Piaggio Medley 150 for delivery use!

Worn on a Symphony 125 since the summer of '22, I have done 6000 km and they are very good on both dry and wet roads. I have no complaints about braking in all driving conditions, even with a passenger.
φορεμένα σε symphony 125 από το καλοκαίρι του 22 έχω κάνει 6000χλμ και είναι πολύ εντάξει σε στεγνό και βρεγμένο οδόστρωμα. Στο φρενάρισμα δεν έχω κανένα παράπονο σε όλες τις συνθήκες οδήγησης ακόμα και με δικαβαλο.
Purchased in April 2021, a year and a half ago, following the insistence of the tire dealer to use these due to the unavailability of Michelin because of the pandemic. However, there were many stores on Skroutz with available Michelin, but I was in a hurry to change them because I was passing the MOT and had Michelin from 2012, so I decided to try the Pirelli. They were installed on an Aprilia Atlantic 300 (which is 160 kg, one of the lightest, most agile, and "fastest" scooters I've driven in the 300cc category), but I only have experience with Michelin in this size, so inevitably I compare them. Dimensions: rear 130/70/13 and front 110/90/13.
My impression when I installed them: They are relatively soft tires, comfortable. The same when they start to slip, they do it a bit smoothly. They behave well in water as long as the road is not smooth and the water is not too little; in such cases, they slip more easily. They are also quiet, with good rolling quality.
My impression of the tires today after 1.5 years and 6000 km: They have hardened, not as soft as initially. They slip much more on dry surfaces than when I installed them, especially if they sit unused for a few days, and the front slips first, causing a bit of a scare; they don't slip together as I was used to with the previous tires. They remain quiet with good rolling quality. They need pressure checks every 2 months as they lose 3-4 psi. Finally, winter hasn't come yet to see how they behave in a lot of water.
Compared to the Michelin City Grip I had: The Michelin are a bit harder but sharper in driving, slip later (with more kilometers, at least +10km/h), and perhaps a bit more abruptly compared to the Pirelli. They have the same rolling quality in the center, the Pirelli are a bit more comfortable and quiet when leaning. In a lot of water, the Pirelli will hydroplane more easily. The Michelin wear a bit more in the center compared to the Pirelli when covering many kilometers upright (e.g., highway). I rarely check their pressure because they don't lose air, maybe add 2psi every 6 months. Finally, the Michelin City Grip 2 (the new model) I have on another 300cc scooter (SYM GTS 300) has an M+S indication, suitable for winter conditions (mud, snow, a lot of water) with all the positives that entail, except that they wear out a bit faster (the scooter is also heavy, 192 kg and almost always slightly loaded as I do "upright" trips with it).
Conclusion: I probably wouldn't buy them again for the swift city driving I do with the Aprilia Atlantic 300. They might be more suited to the SYM GTS 300, i.e., more "touristic" use where I would seek a more comfortable tire that can withstand straights and not have many grip demands, etc. They are also a bit more expensive than other brands, even though they are made in "economical" Indonesia. (The Michelin City Grip I had were made in Spain, while the new model, the City Grip 2 M+S, is made in Serbia)
Update March 2023, after 2 years: The tires have dried out even more, slip even more easily on poor road surfaces. They don't shed water enough, hydroplaning comes faster than expected, they are okay in moderate water, but in relatively a lot of water or puddles, they literally go over the water, and you lose control. It now seems logical since the grooves on the tire are quite narrow/small and almost perpendicular to the tire's rolling. On the contrary, the Michelin City Grip 2 that I have on my other scooter perform excellently even on wet surfaces. You can lean as much as you want on good asphalt no matter how much it rains, you go through puddles and it doesn't feel a thing. In the rain, I comfortably hit 120km/h and more without fear, and they haven't dried out even though they are 3 years old compared to the 2 years I have the Pirelli. From what I understand, tire dealers push to "promote" the Pirelli, which are from Indonesia and logically should be much cheaper, but don't be fooled, they're not worth it!
Update 11/2024:
This year I used them a bit more, I did... 3,000 km within the year! :) I can now "correct" the drying I felt, which is obviously from the inactivity I have. On good asphalt where I ride and on open roads, it behaves well. However, the Michelin "cleans" faster after inactivity and generally remains sharper, showing its limits more clearly, unlike the Pirelli where you don't know when it will slip on bad asphalt or water. In the end, for winter and a good feel at the limits, I would choose the Michelin, while for more touring use and comfort avoiding bad asphalt and a lot of water, I would choose the Pirelli. However, I am still puzzled by the fact that the Pirelli are more expensive than the Michelin. Anyway, on my 125 scooter with 12-inch wheels, I put Michelin City Grip 2 and I don't regret it! (I also paid 25 euros less compared to the Pirelli)

After 4 years and 8000 km, I am now looking for traction control on the 300cc scooter even though it only has 23 horsepower. Every time I open the throttle in my city with the average asphalt, if I don't open the throttle gently, the rear tire will skid mercilessly from 0 to 40 km/h. It slips a lot on sudden throttle openings! Fortunately, overall it's not that bad, although a new element is that they have started to crack and cut in many places. On the heavier and more powerful SYM GTS 300, the rear Michelin City Grip 2 doesn't spin even though it has 29 horsepower and is much more powerful, but the tread of the rear tire has started to "wear down" significantly after 5 years and 10,000 km mainly on provincial roads. Overall, I prefer the Michelin, you feel constant stable traction, they have limits that you know, while with other tires there are moments when you don't know if it will hold or slip, and believe me, the difference in safety you feel with the Michelin compared to other tires is significant. Especially in heavy rain at high speeds, I consider the choice of Michelin a one-way street.

Ωστόσο στο Σκρουτζ είχε πολλά καταστήματα με διαθέσιμα Michelin αλλά βιαζόμουν να τα αλλάξω γιατί περνούσα ΚΤΕΟ και είχα πάνω Michelin του 2012 οπότε είπα να δοκιμάσω τα Pirelli. Τοποθετήθηκαν σε Aprilia Atlantic 300 (το οποίο είναι 160 κιλά, από τα πιο ελαφριά, ευέλικτα και "γρήγορα" σκούτερ που έχω οδηγήσει στην κατηγορία των 300αριών) αλλά έχω εμπειρία μόνο με Michelin σε αυτή την διάσταση οπότε αναπόφευκτα κάνω σύγκριση με αυτά. Διαστάσεις: πίσω 130/70/13 και μπροστά 110/90/13.
Η εικόνα μου όταν τα τοποθέτησα: Είναι σχετικά μαλακά λάστιχα, άνετα. Το ίδιο και όταν αρχίζουν να γλιστράνε, το κάνουν λίγο γλυκά. Στο νερό έχουν καλή συμπεριφορά αρκεί να μη μην είναι λείος ο δρόμος και λίγο το νερό, εκεί γλιστρούν πιο εύκολα. Είναι και αθόρυβα, έχουν καλή ποιότητα κύλισης.
Η εικόνα που έχω για τα λάστιχα σήμερα μετά από 1μιση χρόνο και 6000 χλμ. Έχουν σκληρύνει, δεν είναι τόσο μαλακά όσο στην αρχή. Γλιστρούν αρκετά περισσότερο στο στεγνό από ότι όταν τα τοποθέτησα, ειδικά αν κάτσουν λίγες ημέρες χωρίς χρήση και πρώτο φεύγει το μπροστινό με αποτέλεσμα να τρομάζει λίγο, δε γλιστρούν και τα δύο μαζί όπως είχα συνηθίσει με τα προηγούμενα λάστιχα. Παραμένουν αθόρυβα και με καλή ποιότητα κύλισης. Χρειάζονται έλεγχο στην πίεση κάθε 2 μήνες καθώς χάνουν 3-4 psi. Τέλος, δεν έχει μπει ακόμα ο χειμώνας για να δω πως συμπεριφέρονται πλέον στο πολύ νερό.
Σε σχέση με τα Michelin City Grip που είχα: Τα Michelin είναι λίγο πιο σκληρά αλλά πιο ξυράφι στην οδήγηση, γλιστρούν αργότερα (με περισσότερα χιλιόμετρα, τουλάχιστον +10χλμ/ώρα) και ίσως λίγο πιο απότομα σε σχέση με τα Pirelli. Έχουν την ίδια ποιότητα κύλισης στο κέντρο, τα Pirelli είναι λίγο πιο άνετα και ήσυχα στο πλάγιασμα. Στο πολύ νερό τα Pirelli θα φτάσουν σε υδρολίσθηση πιο εύκολα. Τα Michelin φαγώνονται λίγο περισσότερο στο κέντρο σε σχέση με τα Pirelli όταν διανύεις πολλά χιλιόμετρα όρθιος (πχ εθνική οδός). Σπάνια ελέγχω την πίεσή τους γιατί δε χάνουν αέρα, ίσως να βάλω 2psi στο 6μηνο. Τέλος, τα Michelin City Grip 2 (το καινούριο μοντέλο) που έχω σε άλλο 300άρι σκούτερ (SYM GTS 300) έχουν ένδειξη M+S, κατάλληλα για χειμερινές συνθήκες (λάσπη, χιόνι, πολύ νερό) με όλα τα θετικά που συνεπάγεται πλην του ότι φθείρονται λίγο πιο γρήγορα (είναι και βαρύ το σκούτερ όμως, 192 κιλά και σχεδόν πάντα ελαφρώς φορτωμένο μιας και με αυτό κάνω "όρθια" ταξίδια).
Συμπέρασμα. Μάλλον δε θα τα αγόραζα ξανά για την σβέλτη οδήγηση στην πόλη που κάνω με το Aprilia Atlantic 300. Ίσως να ταίριαζαν πιο πολύ στο SYM GTS 300, δηλαδή σε πιο "τουριστική" χρήση όπου θα αναζητούσα ένα πιο άνετο λάστιχο που και να αντέχει στις ευθείες και να μην έχω πολλές απαιτήσεις κρατήματος κλπ. Είναι και λίγο πιο ακριβά από άλλες μάρκες κι ας φτιάχνονται στην "οικονομική" Ινδονησία. (Τα Michelin City Grip που είχα φτιάχνονται στην Ισπανία ενώ το καινούριο μοντέλο το City Grip 2 M+S, στην Σερβία)
Update Μάρτιος 2023, μετά από 2 χρόνια: Τα λάστιχα έχουν ξεραθεί ακόμα περισσότερο, γλιστρούν ακόμα ευκολότερα σε κακό οδόστρωμα. Δεν διώχνουν το νερό αρκετά, η υδρολίσθηση έρχεται πιο γρήγορα από όσο περίμενα, στο μέτριο νερό είναι οκ, στο σχετικά πολύ νερό ή σε λακούβες κυριολεκτικά περνάει από πάνω από το νερό και χάνεις τα αυγά και τα πασχάλια. Πλέον μου φαίνεται λογικό αφού τα αυλάκια στο λάστιχο είναι αρκετά στενά/μικρά και σχεδόν κάθετα στην κύλιση του λάστιχου. Αντιθέτως τα Michelin City Grip 2 που έχω στο άλλο σκούτερ μου πάνε αέρα ακόμα και στο βρεγμένο, πλαγιάζεις όσο θες σε καλή άσφαλτο όσο κι αν βρέχει, περνάς από λακούβες με νερά και δεν καταλαβαίνει τίποτα, σε βροχή χτυπάω άνετα 120km/h και βάλε χωρίς να φοβάμαι, ούτε έχουν ξεραθεί αν και είναι 3 ετών αντί για 2 που έχω τα Pirelli. Από ότι έχω καταλάβει οι λαστιχάδες πιέζουν για να "σπρώχνουν" τα Pirelli τα οποία είναι Ινδονησίας και λογικά θα έπρεπε να ήταν και αρκετά φτηνότερα αλλά μη τσιμπάτε, δεν αξίζουν!
Update 11/2024:
Φέτος τα δούλεψα λίγο περισσότερο, έκανα... 3.000χλμ μέσα στο έτος! :) Μπορώ πλέον να "διορθώσω" το ξέραμα που ένιωθα που προφανώς είναι από τις ακινησίες που κάνω. Σε καλή άσφαλτο που κινούμαι και σε ανοικτό δρόμο συμπεριφέρεται καλά. Ωστόσο το Michelin "καθαρίζει" πιο γρήγορα μετά την ακινησία και γενικά παραμένει πιο ξυράφι, σου δείχνει τα όριά του πιο ξεκάθαρα σε αντίθεση με το Pirelli που δεν ξέρεις πότε θα γλιστρήσει σε κακή άσφαλτο ή σε νερό.. Τελικά, για χειμώνα και καλή αίσθηση στα όρια θα διάλεγα τα Michelin ενώ για πιο τουριστική χρήση και για άνεση αποφεύγοντας κακή άσφαλτο και πολύ νερό θα διάλεγα τα Pirelli. Ωστόσο ακόμα με προβληματίζει το ότι είναι πιο ακριβά τα Pirelli από τα Michelin. Πάντως, σε 125 σκούτερ μου με 12άρηδες τροχούς έβαλα Michelin City Grip 2 και δε το μετανιώνω! (Έδωσα και 25 ευρώ λιγότερα σε σχέση με τα Pirelli)

Μετά από 4 χρόνια και 8000 χλμ πλέον αναζητώ traction control στο 300άρι σκούτερ κι ας έχει μόνο 23 ίππους. Σε κάθε άνοιγμα του γκαζιού στην πόλη μου με την μέτρια άσφαλτο, αν δεν ανοίξω γλυκά το γκάζι το πίσω λάστιχο θα κάνει ανελέητα μπαντιλίκια από τα 0 ως τα 40χλμ/ώρα. Γλιστράει πολύ στο απότομο άνοιγμα του γκαζιού! Ευτυχώς συνολικά δεν είναι τόσο χάλια αν και ένα νέο στοιχείο είναι πως έχουν αρχίσει να κάνουν ρωγμές και να κόβουν σε πολλά σημεία. Στο βαρύτερο και πιο δυνατό SYM GTS 300 το πίσω Michelin City Grip 2 δεν σπινάρει κι ας έχει 29 ίππους και είναι πολύ πιο δυνατό αλλά το πέλμα του πίσω ελαστικού έχει αρχίσει να "κατεβαίνει" αρκετά μετά από 5 χρόνια και 10.000 χλμ κυρίως σε επαρχιακούς δρόμους. Συνολικά προτιμώ τα Michelin, νιώθεις μόνιμα σταθερή πρόσφυση, έχουν όρια που τα ξέρεις ενώ με άλλα λάστιχα υπάρχουν στιγμές που δε ξέρεις αν θα κρατήσει ή αν θα γλιστρήσει και πιστέψτε με, η διαφορά στην ασφάλεια που νιώθεις με τα Michelin σε σχέση με άλλα λάστιχα είναι μεγάλη. Ειδικά στην πολλή βροχή με μεγάλες ταχύτητες θεωρώ μονόδρομο την επιλογή των Michelin.
sym citycom 20,000 km 4+ years not so much in use in the city and they are very good even though I will replace them with the same ones. They don't wear out, especially the rear. It impresses me that after so many years there are no cracks or sunburn marks, even though it wasn't in a shady area.
20/10/23 32,500 km, 5 years and I still have them because they last, they didn't betray me in braking, turning, or slipping. No tears or cracks. Especially the rear feels like it's lightly used. It's logical for the performance to have decreased, but... I had changed two other brands in 3 years due to excessive wear and dangerous driving. They will be replaced in the spring, no matter what

From these specific tires, I was very satisfied. For me, they are the best I have tried on my scooter (People 300gti). I have also tried Metzeler and Dunlop, but these tires lasted me 40,000 km. Of course, their performance decreases after the first year (I ride about 10,000-12,000 km per year). Now they are worn out and need to be replaced. If you let go of the handlebars, even with a few kilometers, it's a crazy gamble. I am considering either getting the same tires again or trying the City Grip 2 (I haven't heard good things about the first one, but they say the second one is better). I will see...
Απο τα συγκεκριμενα λαστιχα εμεινα πολυ ευχαριστημενος για μενα οτι καλυτερο εχω δοκιμασει στο σκουτερ(people 300gti) και ειχα και μετζελερ και ντανλοπ...μου εβγαλαν 40000 km εννοειται οτι η αποδοση τους μετα τον πρωτο χρονο ειναι πτωτικη(περιπου 10000-12000 ανα ετος κανω) βεβαια τωρα ειναι πεθαμενα και πανε για αλλαγη (αν αφησεις τα χερια απο το τιμονι ακομη και με λιγα χιλιομετρα σκοτωθηκες εχει πλεον τρελο τζογο)σκεφτομαι ή τα ιδια ή city grip2(για τα 1 δεν ειχα ακουσει καλα λογια αλλα για τα 2 λενε καλυτερα) θα δω...

Two stars and that's a lot because at first it was in good condition.
In less than 8 months with only 5000km, it slipped on me, good thing it was on an SH 150i and I don't know how I avoided the accident.
The same goes for the car with Pirelli tires. So, I have heard the worst about this particular brand of tires and it is true.
Michelin-Goodyear are superior brands.

This specific tire is only good for one year, and they burn very easily! The moment I put them on, they had very good grip on both dry and wet surfaces. They don't wear out easily, and that's why the tire doesn't "renew" itself, compared to the Taiwanese ones I had when I bought it, which performed much better. I would never buy them again. Stay away
Το συγκεκριμενο λαστιχο ειναι για εναν χρονο μονο, καιγονται πολυ ευκολα! Την πρωτη στιγμη που τα φορεσα ειχαν πολυ καλο κρατημα σε στεγνο κ βρεγμενο , ΔΕΝ φθειρονται ευκολα κ αυτος ειναι ο λογος που το λαστιχο δεν "ανανεωνετε" , σε συγκριση με τα Ταϊβανέζικα που φορουσε οταν το αγορασα τα Ταιβαν ηραν πολυ καλυτερα. Δεν θα τα ξαναγοραζα ποτέ. Μακριααααα

I was recommended them by a store that supplies all brands. They are not factory-made and I had some hesitation at first, but I trusted the name and the fact that they were slightly more expensive than the Michelins that the scooter came with from the factory. I put them on a Vespa GTS super sport. I'm not one of those who leans into the turn with their knee, but I will say the following. The scooter handles better, brakes better, and you really feel like you're sticking to the road. As for durability, I don't know because I've had them for about 1 month, but I remember in the past I had a smaller Vespa ET4 with factory-made Pirellis that lasted 4-5 years, unlike the Michelins that needed to be changed at 3 to 4 years. The time I've had them so far is fantastic, highly recommended.
Μου τα πρότεινε κατάστημα που προμηθεύει όλες τις μάρκες.Δεν είναι τα εργοστασιακά και είχα έναν ενδοιασμό στην αρχή όμως εμπιστεύτηκα το όνομα και το ότι ήταν λίγο πιο ακριβά από Μισελιν που φορούσε το μηχανακι από το εργοστάσιο .Μπηκαν σε βέσπα GTS super sport.Δεν είμαι από αυτούς που μπαίνουν στην στροφή με το γόνατο όμως θα πω τα εξής.Το μηχανάκι στρίβει καλύτερα φρενάρει καλύτερα και νιώθεις πραγματικά ότι βεντουζάρει στο δρόμο.Απο αντοχή δεν ξέρω καθώς τα έχω περίπου 1 μήνα όμως θυμάμαι παλαιότερα είχα μικρότερη βέσπα ΕΤ4 με Πιρελι εργοστασιακά άντεχαν 4-5 χρόνια σε αντίθεση με τα Μισελιν που ήθελαν άλλαγμα στα 3 προς 4.Το διάστημα που τα έχω πάντως είναι φανταστικά προτείνονται ανεπιφύλακτα.
Excellent choice. It changes the behavior of the scooter. These tires are now the only way to go, which is why they are so successful. Especially for scooters with 15" wheels and below, they are the best you can get. The grip in the corners is excellent and they seem to maintain their properties for a long period of time (which is the most important thing, since almost all tires are good at first), unlike other tires from well-known manufacturers.
Εξαιρετική επιλογή. Αλλάζει η συμπεριφορά του scooter. Είναι πλέον μονόδρομος τα ελαστικά αυτά, γι΄αυτό και η μεγάλη επιτυχία τους. Ειδικά σε scooter με τροχούς 15"" και κάτω, είναι ότι καλύτερο μπορεί να μπει. So far, as a first impression since I have about 500km.
Although it has a harder frame than the City Grip2 I had, it is more comfortable and soft. When it heats up well, the bike seems to weigh down and stick to the asphalt.
120/70/14 55P front, 140/60/13 63P rear. The City Grip2 had a load and speed index of 61S front, 63S rear. So it was wrong for mine. I will return after 5000km for a more complete review.
Μέχρι στιγμής σαν πρώτη εικόνα μιας και έχω περί τα 500χλμ.
Αν και έχει σκληρότερο σκελετό από τα ,, City Grip2 που είχα είναι πιο άνετο και μαλακό. Όταν ζεσταθεί καλά, μοιάζει το μηχανάκι σαν να βαραίνει και να κολλάει στην άσφαλτο.
120/70/14 55P μπροστά, 140/60/13 63P για πίσω. Τα City Grip2 είχαν δείκτη φορτίου και ταχύτητας 61S μπροστά, 63S πίσω. Άρα ήταν λάθος για το δικό μου. Θα επανέλθω μετά από 5000χλμ για πιο ολοκληρωμένη κριτική.
I don't know why some people above say that these tires are dangerous.. mounted on a 2014 Burgman 400, I lean until I find the plastics.. 6k kilometers mostly outside the city on provincial roads with curves and rough asphalt, they are there when you need them and in critical situations.. and in the wet, they perform well in braking and everything.. previous Dunlop tires wouldn't let you lean even with a request
Δεν ξέρω γιατί κάποιοι πιο πάνω λένε ότι είναι επικίνδυνα τα συγκεκριμένα λάστιχα..φορεμένα σε burgman 400 του 2014 στρίβω μέχρι να βρώ πλαστικά..6κ χιλιόμετρα τα περισσότερα εκτός πόλης σε επαρχιακούς δρόμους με στροφές και κακοτραχυλη άσφαλτο είναι εκεί απικο όταν τα χρειάζεσαι και σε οριακές καταστάσεις..και σε βρεγμένο μια χαρά και στο φρενάρισμα και σε όλα..προηγούμενα λάστιχα Dunlop κ δεν έστριβες ούτε με αίτηση
I have been wearing them for 7000 kilometers now and they are not what I expected. They slip a lot on dry surfaces, but perform better on wet ones. I have no complaints about comfort. I will replace them because as they wear out, the condition worsens. I probably won't wear them again, I'm still looking for what to wear.
