Descosept AF by Dr. Schumacher is a ready-to-use, alcohol-based rapid disinfectant containing ethanol and quaternary ammonium compounds. It can be used on all types of surfaces, alcohol-sensitive medical devices and in medical laboratory areas. It is also suitable for hard-to-reach areas that require rapid disinfection.
Its formula contains no aldehydes or phenols. It has a light fragrance and is dermatologically tested. No material discolouration has been observed. It is bactericidal, including against MRSA, as well as fungicidal, tuberculocidal and virucidal, including against hepatitis B and C viruses, HIV, adenovirus, rotavirus and norovirus.
