This is called a pliers with a lever (03 series) and the tip is as close as possible to the cutting edge for easy cutting compared to the simple 02 series of Knipex. It cuts cables and steel wire better than any cheap cutter, like a fantastic pliers but of course heavier than a simple 160mm one. If someone has large hands, they will truly enjoy it as a tool.

I got it because I was working with a simple pair of pliers and after a tendinitis, it was difficult for me to cut the cables. With this one, it's a piece of cake. The company has excellent products that make you enjoy working. It has a focal point where they connect and gives extra strength to the tightening. Very good cutter up to 2.2mm steel. You can work safely up to 1000V. If it doesn't experience any short circuit, you have it for 2 lifetimes. It's really worth buying.
