I have been using this steering wheel for a year now and I have quite a bit to say. I will divide my review into three parts: one for the quality, one for the steering wheel itself, and one for the steering wheel in relation to games, as well as my general comments.
Review 1 (quality and others):
You get what you pay for, the materials could be better but they don't bother me. There are only 2 pedals so there is no clutch, the suction cups under the wheel are quite strong, for a week. After a week of use, they will completely give out and you will have to use the base that screws the wheel to the table. Another negative that no one mentioned is that the computer and games see the pedals and gear shifters behind the wheel as the same thing. So you won't be able, for example, to press the gas and then try to change gears with the shifters behind the wheel, it will be like pressing the gas and then gas again. So theoretically you will only be able to press the gas and brake with the pedals or only with the shifters. Also, the pedals don't stay in the same place if you press them with force (the suction cups underneath are not very strong). The buttons on the wheel are quite good, I didn't encounter any problems.
Review 2 (games and others):
If someone wants to play sim-racing games (e.g. Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, iRacing, RaceRoom, Grand Turismo, LeMans Ultimate, rFactor2, Dirt Rally, etc.) I do not recommend it. Due to the 180 degrees of rotation, it doesn't work. With the slightest movement of the wheel, the car in the games turns a lot and control is easily lost. Also, it is impossible to be fast enough to beat your opponents due to the small rotation. Personally, I used the steering wheel exclusively in Beamng.drive, obviously there was the problem I mentioned, but due to the nature of the game, which is more focused on freeroam and not on speed races like the other titles I mentioned before, the problem with the 180 degrees was not so annoying. If you want to play sim-racing games and generally have a better experience, get the Logitech G29, please. It is the only steering wheel at a low price that is reliable, well-made, and with 900 degrees of rotation. The price may not be very friendly for someone who is getting their first steering wheel (like me, I didn't get it) but you will remember my words when you try to play some of the games I mentioned with the Spirit of Gamer R-Ace Wheel Pro 2.
General comments:
If you are looking for a completely relaxed experience with games that are not so serious in terms of racing (and generally not so realistic), get it, for its price I believe it is the best to cover this need. If you are looking for something more serious with which you want to play games more focused on speed and competition, it is not good at all. If you want a steering wheel that covers this job, it is the Logitech G29.
Χρησιμοποιω αυτην την τιμονερια εδω και ενα χρονο και εχω αρκετα να πω. Θα χωρισω την αξιολογιση μου σε τρια κομματια σε μια για την ποιοτητα, γενικως για την τιμονιερα αυτη καθαυτη και για την τιμονιερα σε σχεση με παιχνιδια και γενικως για την αποδοση της και τα γενικα μου σχολια
Αξιολογιση 1 (ποιοτητα και αλλα):
Οτι πληρωνεις παιρνεις, τα υλικα θα μπορουσαν να ειναι καλυτερα αλλα δεν ειναι οτι με ενοχλουν. Τα πεταλια ειναι μονο 2 οποτε δεν υπαρχει ο συμπλεκτης, οι βεντουζες απο κατω απο το τιμονι ειναι αρκετα δυνατες, για μια βδομαδα. Μετα απο μια εβδομαδα χρησης θα τα φτυσουν τελειως και θα πρεπει να χρησιμοποιησετε την βαση που βιδωνει το τιμονι στο τραπεζι. Αλλο ενα αρνητικο που δεν ειδα κανεις να αναφερει ειναι οτι ο υπολογιστης και τα παιχνιδια βλεπουν τα πεταλια και τα gear shifters πισω απο το τιμονι ως το ιδιο πραγμα. Οποτε δεν θα μπορεις για παραδειγμα να πατας γκαζι και μετα να προσπαθισεις να αλλαξεις ταχυτητα με τα shifters πισω απο το τιμονι, θα ειναι σα να παντας γκαζι και μετα ξανα γκαζι. Οποτε θεωρητικα θα μπορεις να πατας γκαζι και φρενο μονο με τα πεταλια ή μονο με τα shifters. Επισης τα πεταλια δεν πολυ μενουν στο ιδιο σημειο αν τα πατας με δυναμη (οι βεντουζες απο κατω δεν ειναι πολυ δυνατες). Τα κουμπια πανω στο τιμονι ειναι αρκετα καλα, δεν μου προεκυψε καποιο προβλημα.
Αξιολογιση 2 (παιχνιδια και αλλα):
Αν καποιος θελει να παιξει sim-racing παιχνιδια (πχ Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, iRacing, RaceRoom, Grand Turismo, LeMans Ultimate, rFactor2, Dirt Rally κτλ) δεν την προτεινω. Λογω των 180 μοιρων περιστροφης δεν γινεται δουλεια. Με την παραμικρη κινηση του τιμονιου το αμαξι στα παιχνιδια στριβει παρα πολυ και χανεται ο ελεγχος πολυ ευκολα. Επισης ειναι αδυνατον να εισαι αρκετα γρηγορος για να προλαβεις τους αντιπαλους σου λογω της μικρης περιστροφης. Προσωπικα χρησιμοποιουσα την τιμονιερα αποκλειστικα στο Beamng.drive, προφανως υπηρχε το προβλημα που ανεφερα, αλλα λογω της φυσης του παιχνιδιου, που ειναι πιο στραμενο στο freeroam και οχι στους αγωνες ταχυτητας οπως οι αλλοι τιτλοι που ανεφερα πριν οποτε το προβλημα με τις 180 μοιρες δεν ηταν τοσο ενοχλητικο. Αν θελετε να παιζετε sim-racing παιχνιδια και γενικως μια καλυτερη εμπειρια, παρτε την Logitech G29, παρακαλω. Ειναι η μονη τιμονιερα με χαμηλη τιμη η οποια να ειναι αξιοπιστη, καλοφτιαγμενη και με 900 μοιρες περιστροφης. Μπορει η τιμη να μην ειναι πολυ φιλικη για καποιον που παιρνει την πρωτη του τιμονιερα (οπως εγω δεν την πηρα) αλλα θα θυμηθείτε τα λογια μου οταν θα προσπαθησετε να παιξετε καποια απο τα παιχνιδια που εχω αναφερει με την Spirit of Gamer R-Ace Wheel Pro 2.
Γενικα σχολια:
Αν ψαχνετε για μια τελειως χαλαρη εμπειρια με παιχνιδια τα οποια δεν ειναι τοσο σοβαρα στο θεμα των αγωνων (και γενικως δεν ειναι τοσο ρεαλιστικα) παρτε την, για τα λεφτα της πιστευω ειναι η καλυτερη για να καλυψει αυτην την αναγκη. Αν ψαχνετε για κατι πιο σοβαρο με το οποιο θελετε να παιξετε παιχνιδια στραμενα πιο πολυ στην ταχυτητα και στον ανταγωνισμο δεν ειναι καθολου καλη. Αν θελετε ενα τιμονι που να καλυπτει αυτην την δουλεια ειναι η Logitech G29.
