This second edition systematically presents the new law of enforced execution as established by Law 4335/2015, which replaced forty-seven (47) articles, abolished five (5), and introduced two (2) new provisions.

It has been enriched with recent case law, which has decisively shaped the function of certain individual institutions of enforced execution, as well as with significant contributions to the theory.

This volume of the General Part of the Law of Enforced Execution addresses the needs of transitioning from the old to the new law, providing a complete picture, as far as possible, of the evolutionary path of Greek case law over the last two decades; it offers updates on the corresponding positions of Greek theory, with parallel comparative references to the legal orders in Europe that are nearest to Greek law.

It also attempts to approach interpretively – and evaluate – the new law of Law 4335/2015, in comparison and as the evolutionary continuation of the previous regulations of the Code of Civil Procedure.
