    I have had them for about 4 years and I admit that they have been quite convenient for me.
    The problem is (I imagine this applies to all neoprene dumbbells) that they absorb sweat and start to smell after a while, and I haven't found a way to clean them without the iron sand inside rusting.

    I bought them a few days ago and I already used them once in a kickboxing and pilates burn out round (at home). They are quite convenient and stable in the hand. The design could possibly be better because you feel a little bit of "pulling" on the thumb, but nothing terrible (logical since it is one size fits all). Overall, though, it "adds" to the workout and as long as one pays attention to the movements and posture of the body, I imagine there won't be a problem with strains and such. I think it's a good purchase.
