Title that touches perfection without exaggeration. I found it on sale at Plaisio for 15€.
I haven't dealt with any other AC and I read many who criticize the fact that the series has deviated from the spirit of the previous titles by adding many RPG elements, but I got hooked on the game, something I never imagined.
The game's setting in Ancient Egypt is unique, the map, if you get both expansions, is literally endless with unique design and unprecedented emphasis on even the smallest detail. I have never seen such a setting and such a portrayal of the world in a game, the cities are truly enormous and bustling with life, vast deserts, endless paths through canyons and mountains, endless sea, caravans and ships constantly coming and going, creating a unique transportation network that in turn makes the world even more realistic. What can one mention first? In every new area I go to, I constantly say to myself, "What have these people created???" of course, referring to the creators at Ubisoft!!
The graphics are incredible (xbox1x), the textures are very detailed, the rendering of water, mountains, and the character itself with the costumes they wear is unique. Sometimes when you're riding a horse and there's a quick change of environment, you'll notice that some textures take a while to load, something that doesn't really ruin the game's visuals and I believe it has to do with the hardware since it's a very heavy game. But where the game truly shines is in the animations and the parkour that the character attempts! It's the best thing that has come out in a game, there is no point that the character cannot climb, from the smallest wall to the tallest mountain.
The sound is very nice without being tiring. The Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) has some issues, for example, while you're in battle with an enemy that has spotted you, another enemy 20-30m below doesn't notice what's happening next to him. The missions are endless without personally saying that they have tired me or that they become repetitive. They are literally endless. I have completed about 70% of the game with 62% completion and I have recorded 75 hours of gameplay with the two major expansions untouched yet.
As expected, I bought Odyssey without a second thought and it's waiting on the shelf until I finish this one. With rumors talking about the next setting of AC taking place in the era of the Vikings, it will be purchased without much thought.

Τίτλος που αγγίζει την τελειότητα χωρίς υπερβολές. Το πέτυχα σε προσφορά στο Πλαίσιο στα 15€.
Δεν έχω ασχοληθεί με άλλο AC και διαβάζω πολλούς που κάνουν κακή κρητική στο ότι η σειρά έχει ξεφύγει από το πνεύμα των παλιότερων τίτλων βάζοντας και πολλά RPG στοιχεία, εγώ κόλλησα με το παιχνίδι κάτι το οποίο ποτέ δεν φανταζόμουν.
Το setting του παιχνιδιού στην Αρχαία Αίγυπτο είναι μοναδικό, ο χάρτης αν πάρετε και τα 2 xpansions είναι ατελείωτος κυριολεκτικά με μοναδική σχεδίαση και πρωτόγνωρη έμφαση και στην πιο μικρή λεπτομέρεια. Δεν έχω ξανά δει τέτοιο setting και τέτοια απόδοση του κόσμου σε παιχνίδι, οι πόλεις είναι πραγματικά τεράστιες και σφύζουν από ζωή, αχανή έρημο, ατελείωτα δρομάκια μέσα από φαράγγια και βουνά, ατελείωτη θάλασσα, καραβάνια και καράβια συνεχώς πάνε και έρχονται δημιουργώντας ένα μοναδικό δίκτυο μεταφορών που με τη σειρά του κάνει τον κόσμο ακόμα πιο αληθοφανή, τι να πρώτο αναφέρει κανείς, σε κάθε νέα περιοχή που πάω συνεχώς λέω στον εαυτό μου "μα τι έχουν φτιάξει οι άνθρωποι???" εννοώντας φυσικά τους δημιουργούς της Ubisoft!!
Τα γραφικά είναι απίστευτα(xbox1x), τα textures λεπτομερέστατα, η απόδοση του νερού, των βουνών και του ίδιου του χαρακτήρα με τις στολές που φοράει είναι μοναδικά. Μερικές φορές όταν θα τρέχετε με το άλογο και γίνεται γρήγορη εναλλαγή περιβάλλοντος θα παρατηρήσετε ότι μερικές υφές(textures) αργούν να φορτώσουν, κάτι το οποίο δεν χαλάει τόσο την εικόνα του παιχνιδιού και πιστεύω έχει να κάνει με το hardware μιας και είναι πολύ βαρύ παιχνίδι. Εκεί όμως που το παιχνίδι δίνει ρέστα κυριολεκτικά είναι στα animations και στο parkour που επιχειρεί ο χαρακτήρας! ότι καλύτερο έχει βγει σε παιχνίδι, δεν υπάρχει σημείο που δεν μπορεί να σκαρφαλώσει, από το μικρότερο τοίχο μέχρι το ψηλότερο βουνό.
Ήχος πολύ ωραίος χωρίς να κουράζει. Η Τεχνική Νοημοσύνη(A.I.) έχει κάποια θεματάκια, πχ ενώ κάνετε μάχη με έναν εχθρό που σας εντόπισε ο άλλος εχθρός 20-30μ πιο κάτω δεν παίρνει χαμπάρι τι γίνεται δίπλα του. Οι αποστολές είναι ατελείωτες χωρίς προσωπικά να πω ότι με έχουν κουράσει ή ότι γίνονται επαναλαμβανόμενες. Κυριολεκτικά είναι ατελείωτες, Έχω βγάλει κοντά στις 70 με 62% πληρότητα στο παιχνίδι και έχω καταγεγραμμένες 75 ώρες παιχνιδιού με τα 2 μεγάλα xpansions ανέγγιχτα ακόμα.
Όπως ήταν φυσικό αγόρασα και το Odyssey χωρίς 2η σκέψη και περιμένει στο ράφι μέχρι να ολοκληρώσω αυτό. Με τις φήμες να κάνουν λόγο για το επόμενο setting του AC να παίρνει μέρος στην εποχή των Vikings θα αγοραστεί και αυτό χωρίς πολλές σκέψεις.
