Knauf-Perlfix is used for bonding plasterboards, insulating materials (polystyrene and mineral fiber boards), PS and MF panels to common substrates with rough and absorbent surfaces.

Substrate Preparation:

• The substrate must be dry, clean from dust and other residues.
• Check the absorbency of the substrate and remove any formwork oils from the concrete.
• Prime porous and smooth surfaces (e.g., exposed concrete).

Mixing:

• Mix one bag of Perlfix (4.5 kg) in approximately 2.4 liters of clean water without adding other materials and stir with an electric mixer until a homogeneous and lump-free mixture is obtained.

Processing Time:

• Apply the material within approximately 30 minutes from the preparation of the mixture.
• Dirty containers and tools reduce the processing time.
