Isomat Isomac bituminous mastic seals horizontal and vertical cracks or joints on terraces, roofs and walls. It is plastomeric and applied cold. Its composition includes modified bitumen, mineral fibres, special additives and a small amount of organic solvents.
It has thermoplastic properties and adheres to concrete, metal and wood. It is also used to seal difficult areas on concrete surfaces, such as gutters, joints, metal bases, ventilation bases and reinforcing-bar starter bars, as well as an auxiliary sealant when applying bituminous waterproofing membranes. Once cured, it is resistant to dilute acid and alkali solutions and is unaffected by salts in the subsoil.
