Isomat Aquamat Penetrate cementitious waterproofing penetrates the concrete structure and seals its pores through crystalline action. It is applied to basements, foundations, shafts and water tanks, as well as wastewater treatment tanks. It can seal hairline cracks up to 0.4 mm wide and withstand positive hydrostatic pressure of up to 5 atm according to EN 12390-8, as well as negative pressure.
Apply with a brush or spray machine in two coats, up to 1 mm per coat. Dampen the substrate before application, without allowing water to pool. After application, keep the surface damp for 2–3 days. It protects concrete from carbonation, does not corrode reinforcing steel and does not affect the breathability of the structural element. It is suitable for potable water tanks and surfaces in contact with food, in accordance with W-347 requirements.
