The adapter works perfectly as does the audio output it has. It didn't create any interference either in the image or in the sound. I used it on 2 old monitors that only have VGA with 3 different TV boxes, 2 Chinese and one branded.

As soon as I got it, I threw it away. Tried it on 3 different laptops and 2 different projectors. It never worked.

I bought it to connect the PS4 to a VGA monitor, it didn't work but it's not the adapter's fault but the PS because it doesn't provide enough power to the adapter. Overall, it does its job moderately.

It does what it says. I connected it to an old projector from my laptop with HDMI and it worked immediately. The image is very good!

With a Crypto digital TV decoder that we have for 10+ years, it didn't work. It gives a signal - occupies the screen, but it only gives black. Nothing is visible. I tried this on 2 screens, Asus and both of them. However, it worked with HDMI to VGA from the computer. It works with another adapter that I have from HDMI to DVI. But I wanted to keep the DVI for use with the computer and not the TV. It doesn't matter, it's not useless, as not all computers have VGA output anymore, so it will be needed somewhere.

Functional and good construction

This adapter is the only one that works... The audio cable is a bonus. The VGA port does not carry sound. Its proper use is with a female-female VGA cable connection.

Purchased for connection to a monitor that only has one VGA port and a maximum resolution of 1680x1050.
Tested with 2 different new laptops (HP Pro & Lenovo) and never worked properly. I tried various resolutions, but either it didn't work at all, or it worked but with poor quality, the image was not centered, it was blurry and had flickering.
And because I was impressed by the good reviews, I also tried it on a TV that had a VGA port and it didn't work there either.

A decent adapter, not suitable for heavy use as it is made of cheap plastic and I'm generally afraid that if someone frequently changes its position, something will break. I change its position 1-2 times a month, and it's still working fine after a year.

I use it to connect my laptop, which only has HDMI, to my VGA monitor. It works perfectly for office tasks.

Very useful, I needed some HDMI to VGA adapters and I can switch perfectly from my laptop to the desktop at home.

It was purchased for connecting a decoder with a screen that, however, does not have its own speakers, so the criterion was not conversion but sound. The connection was easy and worked perfectly on external 2.1 speakers as well as on a smaller JBL speaker.

It was purchased in order to connect the Dell E2216H Monitor 21.5" FHD to the Asus GeForce GT 1030 2GB OC graphics card. I didn't know if the power from the output of this specific card would be enough or if I would need to buy an adapter with external power from a USB port, which was my only concern about buying this product. However, it worked immediately without any problems. The length of the cable is about 20 cm. Therefore, in most PC cases today, it will not be sufficient to place the adapter on the top of the case. It would not be unreasonable to assume that over time, if the adapter is "hanging in the air" at the back of the case, it may need occasional tightening of the VGA screws. However, at 2.5 euros, even if permanent damage is caused due to the above, after a reasonable period of time of course, I would not say that it has not been worth the money. If anything comes up, I will come back with an update. Until then, 5 stars as there is no reason for the opposite.

I connect my laptop to an external monitor. The VGA connection point is a bit problematic. I have to play around each time to find the right spot. For the money, it's good and except for this issue, it has been working well for a while.

It burned one HDMI port on my graphics card. It also reaches crazy temperatures, causing it to stop working. Prefer something more expensive but also reliable!

I bought it with the purpose of connecting an MPEG4 decoder to the HDMI output, to an old LG monitor that only had VGA input, and it didn't work! Then I tried it with another decoder and a different monitor, and still nothing! Finally, I checked the adapter because I thought it might be burned out, and I connected it to a desktop with the same monitors and it worked fine. So if someone intends to buy it to use it with an MPEG4 decoder, they should know that they are taking a risk, unless it was just mine that was faulty. However, as an adapter, it will be useful somewhere and it costs very little! I will try to see if I can change the resolution on the decoder (maybe that's the cause).

Excellent cable! I converted my computer screen into a TV by connecting it to a decoder and it worked! I searched for the appropriate resolution that matched the screen and everything is perfect!

It does exactly what it should, transfers the signal without flickering, resolution loss, etc. I have tried it on 2 laptops and it works perfectly. I have not tried transferring sound with the jack, but I imagine it will work satisfactorily. It is not for transferring 2K and 4K resolution, but you can't expect that at this price.

I connected a computer monitor that I have since 2008 to a computer that I built now.... It's really reliable and functional!

Very good product. I bought it to connect a monitor with my laptop and external speakers, and it worked very well.

With occasional 1-2 second interruptions (black screen). Otherwise, excellent for what it offers. I would not recommend it for gaming because those 1-2 seconds, even once every few hours, can be annoying. It is excellent as a second screen.

Update: Through research and study, I finally understood how it works for PS4. Anyone who wants to connect a PS4 to a monitor can do so, but BEWARE, the PS4 SLIM and PS4 PRO do not support 5V HDMI voltage output, resulting in this specific converter not functioning properly. The solution for me, since I had already made the purchase, was to buy an additional HDMI Switch with a 5V power supply. As soon as I connected the switch, because it had voltage on the HDMI, it worked normally and for now, I'm enjoying Warzone without any problems!! As for the audio input, I haven't tested it yet

I connected an old 19-inch computer monitor ViewSonic with a TV decoder and it works great. I had to play around with the settings of the decoder because it didn't play in 1080p resolution, so I lowered it to 720p. I also had to enable digital audio for the speakers to work. I am very satisfied because I turned an old monitor into a TV. The picture is very clear and the sound is quite good. I tried to connect an Asus monitor as well, but it didn't work.

It's great and for its price very fast response time simply awesome! I had an old monitor and I said why not buy such a screen since it also does a very good job for only 11€! Do not by any means get the adapter in the 3rd picture.

2nd day of use: I am still very satisfied, I tried playing games like FIFA NBA2K at high performance and it's great!

It worked perfectly from the beginning, without any problems on a computer with an HDMI graphics card and a monitor with only VGA.
