My favorite watch for decades. My grandfather bought it in the 1970s and it still works perfectly. It's the oldest version of the one shown, but it's definitely worth it as a Swiss watch.
Αγαπημένο μου ρολοι εδω κι δεκαετίες. Το αγόρασε ο παπους μου δεκαετία 1970 κι λειτουργεί άψογα ακομη. Την πιο παλαιά έκδοση του εικονιζόμενου αλλα τελικά άξιζε ως ελβετικό.
Excellent machine and construction from Tissot. The Powermatic 80, although based on the ETA2824, is definitely improved, both in autonomy (80 hours) and accuracy: Mine is at +3-4 sec per day, almost at the limits of COSC certification.
The watch has an amazing design to be worn as a dress watch. The date does not "bother" as it exists, nor does it disrupt the symmetry.
What might bother is the fully polished bracelet, it is all polished, maybe it should have been mixed with satin brush, like Omega does with the Seamaster bracelet for example. But you can change it with a black strap if it bothers you.
Εξαιρετική μηχανή και κατασκευή από την Tissot. Η Powermatic 80 αν και βασίζεται στην ETA2824 είναι σίγουρα βελτιωμένη, τόσο σε αυτονομία (80 ώρες) όσο και σε ακρίβεια: To δικό μου είναι στα +3-4 sec την ημέρα, σχεδόν στα όρια του COSC certification δλδ.
Το ρολόι έχει καταπληκτικό design για να φορεθεί ως dress. Η ημερομηνία δεν "ενοχλεί" που υπάρχει, ούτε χαλάει την συμμετρία.
Αυτό που ίσως ενοχλήσει είναι το φουλ γυαλιστερό μπρασελέ του, είναι όλο Polished, ίσως έπρεπει να το έχουν κάπως Mix με satin brush, όπως κάνει η Omega πχ με το μπρασελέ του Seamaster. Αλλά το αλλάζεις με ένα μαύρο λουρί αν σε ενοχλεί.
