Description

Through "Fyllakoudia," an incredible yet true heroic story of life and death unfolds about another teenage fighter of E.O.K.A. (National Organization of Cypriot Fighters 1955-1959), who fought against British colonialism, striving for Freedom, Self-Determination, and the Union of Cyprus with Greece.

The young Andreas, passionate about the liberation struggle and deeply in love with Androula, is captured by British forces on January 5, 1956, at just seventeen years old, for possessing a grenade and is sentenced to twelve years in prison. He cannot accept his imprisonment and the deprivation of his freedom. His love for his homeland and his affection for Androula strengthen his resolve and harden his will to live and be free.
