The machine recognizes it as genuine for warranty purposes. But it is very expensive, both in terms of its nominal value and mainly because it does not deliver the promised number of pages. Okay, the 12k pages are calculated with 5% coverage (ISO/IEC 19752 standard), which roughly corresponds to a text page with up to 40% coverage. But still, the deviation is significant: with text printing, the drum ran out after 5,600 pages, including the toner prints (for 2,000 pages) that the printer had pre-installed! The system showed 10% capacity and after printing 15 pages, it completely ran out! Approximately, the cost per text page is around €0.035 - €0.040, not €0.014. I will prefer good quality compatible ones because a €100 difference per piece is a huge difference for so few pages.
