Review this product
  • Construction quality
  • Variety of sandpaper from other manufacturers
  • Precision in operation
  • Convenient to hold
  • Value for money
  • Mild noise
  • Mild vibrations
  • Power
  • Good grip, its weight is satisfactory but it can become tiring after a few hours. For now, it is convenient and effective, tested with various sandpapers on wood and wall. The only negative is the suction container, which does not clean easily - you need to tap it to empty it and this may cause damage.

  • The best €94 I've ever spent!

Already owning two other Makita battery-powered electric tools, plus two batteries, a charger, and a carrying case, buying the Solo version turned out to be affordable!

But for me, as an amateur who engages in woodworking for the joy of creation, what really matters is the user experience. This sander turns you from an amateur into a professional effortlessly, without thinking, without having to spend a fortune!

Where I used to sand for hours by hand and with other second-rate sanders and the result was mediocre and I was exhausted... now the result is perfect!

You take a scrap of marine plywood that's been lying in a storage room for 8 years and turn it into a jewel with a marble-like texture... effortlessly! You varnish it with your mediocre brush and you simply can't believe that this came from your own hands! You place it next to the raw piece of wood and you can't realize that it started from that condition and reached perfection in just a few minutes!

Professionals might laugh at what I'm writing... but for me, this experience is amazing and this small, light, easy-to-use tool makes me want to get better and enjoy my creations even more!
