Description

Description

Whether you are interested in the most ambitious photographic projects or taking your first professional steps, the EOS 6D Mark II offers you everything you need to take your next exciting steps.

Canon EOS 6D Mark II:

A compact full-frame camera with a big heart

This landmark DSLR design features protective sealing components to protect against dust and moisture. You will immediately feel familiar with the camera and include it in your equipment.

"Your next creative steps in photography"

Portrait photographers will love the shallow depth of field offered by the full-frame sensor of the EOS 6D Mark II, as well as its ability to capture fleeting expressions at 6.5 frames per second. In landscape shots, the camera's 26.2 megapixel sensor captures images full of detail and dynamic range, for images that exude realistic depth and clarity.

Precision focusing for exceptional clarity:

The advanced autofocus uses 45 cross-type points to focus with exceptional precision, even in incredibly low light, such as moonlight. Capture confidently with shallow depth of field and track moving subjects as they move through the frame.

Window to the world

The large pentaprism viewfinder of the EOS 6D Mark II displays an incredibly clear image of the world, allowing you to create natural connections with your subjects and capture more spontaneous shots.

Composition from any angle

Easily capture from low angles or from above in large areas, thanks to the vari-angle screen of the EOS 6D Mark II, which flips and rotates in every direction. Try using it at waist height for more natural portraits.

The built-in GPS tracks your every movement

Add geotags to every image you capture with your current location, wherever you are. This way, you can easily refer back to your routes or add accurate image captions to describe your adventures.

Designed for seamless integration with smart devices

The EOS 6D Mark II uses Bluetooth to facilitate the setup of Wi-Fi connection with the smart device. Browse and select images on the device's screen and share them with friends. The device can also be used as a remote camera controller, even for live view shooting.

Full HD Cinematic Movies

Shoot stunning Full HD movies with the shallow depth of field characteristic of professional videos. Dual Pixel CMOS AF smoothly adjusts to keep moving subjects sharp without distracting, abrupt changes in focus, and the built-in 5-axis digital stabilizer smooths unwanted camera motion.

With this camera, you can create 4K time-lapse movies, capturing the movement of slowly changing scenes with incredible detail.

This review is about the bundle: Body

For an entry-level choice, it is excellent. The advantages and disadvantages are well known. Even today, I believe it surpasses the corresponding mirrorless models (Rp and recently R8) in important areas (battery endurance, price, range of cheap lenses without an adapter). You can find it second-hand in good condition for 500-600€. Yes, mirrorless cameras have a bunch of new technologies, but if you exclude the mediocre color density of the 6Dmkii, otherwise it produces equally good photos. Whoever owns it and is satisfied has no reason to switch to another body.

At 1350€, it is worth the money with easy menu, poetic images, and coco appearing after 2000 iso. It is comfortable in the hand with perfect ergonomics.
A good choice for a first full frame.

This review is about the bundle: Body

It is the second EOS 6D Mark II that I am buying. The first one lasted almost three years without any problems. It was purchased from abroad.
I bought the second one on Black Friday in Greece. I used it at a baptism as a second camera for very few shots.
The second time I needed it, it never turned on. It let me down at work.
Unacceptable for a new camera. Inexcusable for a company like Canon.
Luckily, it was still under warranty and the switch was replaced for free. Although, in my opinion, it should have been replaced entirely.
I no longer trust it, it will remain as a second camera and I will have a third one with me...

After the mark I, I also have the mark II. They are almost the same cameras in terms of image quality and low light performance, with no improvement. However, the auto focus is exceptional. It focuses quickly and importantly, it does so in live view. The 5D Mark IV does the same, but it doesn't have a flip screen. Anyone who needs fast auto focus and a screen for different shooting angles should get it... Anyone who simply wants a good full frame camera that is affordable should get the 6D Mark I or even better, the Nikon D750 which is also dual card. Anyone who has more to spend, the 5D Mark IV is their choice.

    *****Update 9/27/2018*****

I bought the 6D mk ii Body to take advantage of the capabilities of a full frame camera.

The camera is a significant upgrade from my beloved 100D.

The quality of the photos is immediately noticeable due to the high resolution, color depth, and increased capabilities in low light conditions.

The build quality, handling capabilities, and menu are at high levels, while the autofocus system is precise and fast.

The camera works seamlessly with my old Canon lenses, specifically the ef 100mm f/2 usm and the 35mm f/2 is usm.

    I highly recommend it

  • It is the second EOS 6D Mark II that I am buying.

  • So-so for the money because the video it captures is IPB at 50fps and not ALL-I! Also, the sensor comes from the 70D, which brings noise and grain

  • After the mark I, I also have the mark II.

The auto focus is exceptional even in backlight!
