Since Makita stopped making its tools in Japan, the quality has dropped. On the other hand, a Makita at such a low price is expected to break.
3 impact screwdrivers with a switch that lasts 1.5 to 2 years. Not worth repairing them.
I bought the brushless ones in case they have fixed it. I only work with Makita.

I have had it for almost 1.5 years, the trigger broke and at the service they told me it is not worth repairing because the trigger comes together with the circuit board

This review is about the contents kit: Solo

In my personal opinion and experience, this particular tool is not intended for professionals. It is not suitable for professional work. Although I used it for amateur purposes, the tool broke down after a week of daily use (screwing self-drilling screws 6x120mm into a ceiling panel with a kiln-dried H). Even though I pushed it quite hard, as it was continuously working for about 2 hours, the tool overheats excessively relatively early. In the end, it seized up and is now useless for work. If someone needs it for light tasks, it is very good, as it is powerful and I believe it is durable for occasional amateur use. If someone wants an impact driver for daily professional use, in my opinion, they should invest in something better.

This review is about the contents kit: 2x5Ah with Hard Case

Just get used to the sensitivity of the trigger ..... it's simply unbeatable! It screws everything without a hitch! You cut a screw, kick a nail, break a nut, break an extension .... but the tool is amazing. 12cm 8mm ratchets with 13 nuts, 800 pieces & 1000 8mm screws clockwise in 10 hours (I changed the 4ah battery 5 times) *I broke 10-12 adapters for 3/8 nuts & the same number of extensions. SIMPLY PERFECT

It is still early, but it seems to be okay... I return after a while, leave it on the shelf, press the switch to start and it stops... I call a known repairman, official for Makita, DeWalt, Bosch, and the like, as soon as I tell him the model, he says it's the switch... it's a known problem... the dealership price is almost the same as what I bought it for... Disappointed... of course, I got it fixed, but...
