Fantastic value for money for amateur use. Heats up very quickly and easily melts the material without having it on full. We'll see how long it lasts, very satisfied with the 3-4 projects I've worked on it.

For the money, it's incredible and it's the first one that doesn't break immediately. The other very cheap ones are done after one use. The only issue is that it doesn't heat up to the point where you can make professional welds

For simple use and educational soldering, it's just fine. Good length of the soldering iron cable and easy temperature adjustment at the station. The tip wears out easily, so I would definitely recommend getting a second one as a backup.

Best value for the money, I don't find any difference with the Weller that I have had for 20 years and its price is ten times higher. As for the usage, regarding reliability... Time will tell

It's better to pay a bit more and get something good... I needed it 5-6 times and it broke down... it has no power even at maximum... even the soldering tin struggles to melt... unacceptable... even a Chinese one for 5 € would work better... the good reviews that led me to buy it were a waste... wasted money...

For the price it has, it is a very good purchase for amateur use always. It heats up quickly, maintains a good temperature, and easily melts the solder. I don't know how it will perform in small soldering jobs on circuit boards, but for larger tasks like plugs, etc., it is the best I have used. The temperature of the station has a difference of about 50 degrees from the displayed one on the dial, but I don't think it will affect any hobbyist significantly. If you don't have space issues, it is a very good choice.

I used it for a short time. The temperature it reached was very low and not normal. Anyway, I managed to finish it and close it. When I opened it again, it did not heat up at all. Obviously, it was defective. Let's hope they will replace it for me because there is no warranty in its packaging. Money wasted.

Definitely the best there is for this price. The base is fine and the tip heats up in 10 seconds. Replacement tips are available everywhere and at a very good price (after about 100 or so soldering joints, I see that it probably needs to be changed. Just a small question mark about durability over time, but at this price, there is nothing to complain about. Very fair.

After using it for 6 months, I can confidently say that it is the best glue available on the market. Its low price is because it is mass-produced in China by the factories themselves. Truly value for money.

I started a hobby of repairing my own devices and friends' devices. Full amateur, I watch videos on YouTube and simply follow the steps. So far, my experience with this specific machine is very good. I also paid 5 euros from an international website and got around 20 different tips to have according to the work I do. For someone who is an amateur and wants to pursue their hobby, it is exactly what they need. It is cheap and does what it promises. I have had it for 2 years now without any problems.

Whatever they say in the reviews and the rest of the friends. I had tried in the past various adhesives with miserable failure. I decided that I am not cut out for sports. However, wanting to create a kitchen LED strip with adjustable warm and cool light (i.e. 3 pin), I realized that there are no ready-made corners available in the market yet. For amateur use, it is the best thing, no comparison to the basic ones that make you lose faith in melting and sticking, for example a simple component on a circuit board!

Based on the reviews I saw on the product (somewhere around 18 out of 5 stars without a rating of 4 or lower, early 2020) and the excessively low price (<21€), I decided to buy it. I didn't regret it at all. One note is that I have changed its tip because the one it had was too thin and not suitable for THT. If you read the rest of the reviews, you will see that the soldering iron is not only at the perfect price (in fact, it is currently a best seller on Skroutz, which makes it instantly perfect for anyone who simply needs a soldering iron to do its job), it has a good base for the soldering iron and maintains a stable temperature. The only thing I would change is the position of the power switch because in its current position (right side of the base), it is a bit inconvenient for the surface I have it on. Other than that, the product is the best.

Very good for amateur use. They say that tools don't make the craftsman, but for example, I easily soldered 4 headphone wires to a 3.5mm audio jack (4-pole), which I couldn't do with any other soldering iron from Lidl! So yes, for us amateurs, tools play a bigger role. It heats up quickly and the tip is of good quality. Get a sponge with flux and you'll be kings. Excellent value for money and quality.

Apprentice and for purely amateur (and limited in duration) use. With any other I had tried I didn't achieve anything - I was "melting" in the youtube tutorials - with this one I was saved!

I can say that for frequent, although amateur use, this particular soldering iron is fantastic. It heats up very quickly, the included tip is excellent, and something that is very important to me personally, the cable connecting the station to the soldering iron is very flexible, resulting in almost no resistance regardless of the soldering angle. The LED indicator lights up and goes off to indicate whether the soldering iron is heating up, and not just if it is simply turned on like in cheaper ones. The temperature adjustment is decent and there is a separate on/off switch. The only particular thing about the soldering iron is that the wide, front part of the handle heats up quite a bit after prolonged continuous use

For amateur use that I do (soldering/desoldering capacitors, resistors, etc.), it is excellent! It heats up in less than 1 minute and is comfortable to use. In heavier scenarios, such as desoldering a coil or transformer even at 500 degrees, it cannot adequately melt the solder (I have previously applied solder to the tip and flux to the PCB). For this job, I use the YH-858D hot air station. Also, the body of the station "slips" on my desk, as the legs are simply made of plastic.
