Within just one year, with use about 2 times a month and exclusively on LED fixtures, the cable started to develop “bumps” and show visible deformations. I sent it to the company, as they asked me to, so they could inspect it, and their response was that supposedly a heavy vehicle had run over it! Of course, nothing like that ever happened.
The climax was when they told me, quite pointedly, that “the product is for household use,” as if I had been using it in a factory. Its use was completely normal, minimal, and especially careful. Even when it needed to be folded, I made sure to change the folding direction, alternating left and right, so that it would not be stressed continuously in the same direction.
So instead of seriously considering the possibility of a material defect, they chose to blame the customer with an excuse that has absolutely nothing to do with reality.
Unacceptable behavior and zero willingness to take responsibility. When a product shows such a problem after such limited and careful use, I would expect seriousness and respect toward the customer — not arbitrary excuses to disclaim all responsibility.
With such product quality and, above all, such treatment, I personally will not choose either this specific product or the company again.
I gave them the cable as it was functioning and they didn’t even return that to me.
