The TORAIZ SP-16 sampler and step sequencer is Pioneer DJ's first product with music production tools for DJs and producers.
The 7" color touch screen gives you instant access to all the information you need. Easily browse, select, and color code samples, while simultaneously adjusting their parameters with the rotary knobs just below the screen.
The 16-step sequencer allows you to create up to 256 different patterns. You can save and play back your loops instantly, as well as use the buttons to shape your sounds. Additionally, the backlit buttons reflect the colors assigned to each sound, providing visual guidance.
Load up to 16 samples onto the large rubber pads and then tap them rhythmically with your fingers to generate layered sounds on the fly. The colorful LED lights indicate which samples are playing, while the Velocity Status allows you to control the sample's intensity based on the pressure applied to the pad.
It provides all the power you need to play back 16 samples simultaneously - even when using time stretching, pitch bending, or amplitude envelope. Additionally, thanks to the 8GB flash memory, you have plenty of space to use the TORAIZ SP-16 as a standalone unit, without a computer.
The TORAIZ SP-16 features the same analog filters as the renowned Prophet-6 synthesizer by Dave Smith. Use the knobs to shape your sound - with control over Drive, Cut Off, and Resonance - and add true analog warmth and presence.
