The Levenhuk LabZZ M2 microscope allows you to study transparent specimens and includes materials and tools for experiments. Children can observe prepared slides, prepare their own specimens, and watch brine shrimp develop in a hatchery. Coarse focusing is adjusted with a knob.
The monocular head has a rotating nosepiece with three pre-installed objective lenses, providing magnification from 100x to 900x. The illumination beneath the stage uses an incandescent bulb or a mirror and is powered by two AA batteries, which are not included. The body is made of plastic, and the stage has metal clips to hold the specimens in place.
