Artemios Michos (1803 - 1873) was born in Ioannina. In 1825, he was confined in Messolongo where he fought heroically until the exit and later in other battles until the arrival of Kapodistrias.

During the second siege of Messolongo, he kept notes on the daily events, and after the liberation, he completed the writing of his memoirs.

Dionysios Efmoropoulos was an active member of the Friendly Society and greatly contributed to its expansion, primarily in the Peloponnese.
