Description

Abba Dorotheos is one of the few saints of the Orthodox Church, known for the simplicity and depth of his analyses regarding the human soul. His writings are aimed at monks, communal dwellers, and hermits, but his teachings are suitable for every Christian. The reader can discover their personal reflections in every line of his Teachings, enjoying their spiritual experience. The central message of his teaching emphasizes that every person, regardless of circumstances, can benefit and walk the path of sanctification in Christ.

Nothing prevents a person from being saved, neither temptations, nor fellow humans, nor even their passions, which, if utilized correctly, can keep a person in humility and become a reason for salvation.

Salvation begins with the free will of the person. God, respecting the free will that He has granted, waits for the person to take the first step, which is to believe that Christ can and wants to save them from sin and its consequences. The entire work that remains belongs to God, who does not disgrace anyone who humbly hopes in His mercy.

Deep content. It opens an "unexpected" visual approach to everything that torments us.
