  • Although it is a fantastic experience for someone buying a VR headset, after a while you start to realize that this technology has been far surpassed. External cameras for tracking, controllers with lights so the camera can understand where they are, this makes the experience worse and worse. But it's not just the tracking. The image quality is like those VR headsets for 20€ that are for video only. I do not recommend it in any case, especially for those who are not new to Virtual Reality. The only good thing is the quality of the products. My controllers have fallen, I have thrown them, and they have not suffered anything, I mean nothing. The same goes for the headset, it has not broken anywhere once I dropped it. I recommend for this money the Meta Quest 2, or if you can afford a little more, the Quest 3 is the best budget choice right now. I hope I helped.

I like the device. For its price, it is very good. The VR experience is enchanting, you immerse yourself in the game. Sometimes I feel dizzy, sometimes not, probably because of the cigarettes.

Owner of the PSVR for about 2 years with minimal use. Here are a few of my impressions.

    1) The image quality through the VR is very poor. I'm not sure if it's due to the VR graphics of the games or the resolutions of the VR headset screens.

    2) Although the overall VR experience is something unique and you truly become part of the game, the whole situation is extremely tiring. Personally, I get excessively dizzy to the point of feeling sick and the next day, whenever I use it, the whole experience becomes unpleasant.

    3) It should have vision settings for people who wear glasses so they can use it without their glasses! I consider it unacceptable that Sony did not anticipate this.

With this money, at 300€, it's worth getting an Oculus Quest 2, which has better resolution, hand tracking, gives you 2 controllers, unlike the PSVR which has a basic PS4 controller or if you want to get the others you have to pay an extra 60-80 euros for 2 controllers that are old technology, which were for the PS3 and then they added them for the PS4 which doesn't have good tracking. No cables, unlike the PSVR where you have to build a whole setup to connect it to the PS4 with a bunch of cables, everything is wireless, and you can take it wherever you want, while with the PSVR you have to get the console along with the VR and the equipment... tragic. Well, okay, when I saw that most of the VR games for the PS4, like Superhot for example, require the other controllers that you have to buy separately as I mentioned above... forget it. I want to say more, but I would have to write a whole essay.

I give 1 star not for its appearance, not for its application... but because it has material inaccuracy in its cushions, resulting in them unraveling after 2-3 years. For the record, there are no spare parts and Cometron asks for 260€ for replacement. Tragic

I would use the word "affordable" to describe this device. It has a high-quality construction and is perfect for immersing yourself in the virtual reality experience. The headphones it comes with are also of good quality, with clear sound. When you wear the helmet along with the headphones, it feels like you are truly inside this virtual world. I give it 4 stars because all the cables can be a hassle, and the resolution is not great. When you wear it, you do feel like you are in this virtual cosmos and it is mesmerizing, but the image resolution is like watching a TV from the 2000s. Lastly, many people may feel nauseous and dizzy when using VR. Personally, I have a slight astigmatism and nearsightedness, so I can't play for more than 40 minutes. However, whoever buys it, I recommend trying Astro Bot. It's perfect for introducing yourself to the virtual world.

Although we have purchased several AAA titles on PSVR, we hardly wear it at all. It is an impractical device due to cables, which bypasses the TV's HDR (you have to disconnect if you want HDR on the TV), and ultimately only serves to showcase the latest technology to friends/family.

    So, here we go:
Overall, VR technology is a fantastic experience that for €300 I would say is worth the money in the end. However, there are negatives. The truth is that if your eyes are sensitive (like mine, for example, with astigmatism), I would recommend not buying it because our eyes, on average, cannot handle it and it causes nausea and dizziness. Of course, everyone is different and some people may not experience anything, although I believe that people with sensitivity to screens will be bothered. Secondly, you should know that the games that support it are more expensive and there aren't too many, so before buying it, plan what you will play and know what you will pay for! Without games, it will be somewhat useless! (Preferably, Resident Evil 7 Biohazard). Finally, it is definitely worth buying if you are a fan of VR and it is definitely worth its price from when it was released...

I have not personally used it since it was a gift for my son, who is thrilled with it.
The same goes for my husband.
Its construction is sturdy and adjustable to every head.
I believe it is up to each individual how and how much they will use it.

For someone like me who has never tried VR before, the experience is stunning. Literally, you enter the game...you live it. The mask is of high quality and adjusts very easily to the head. The resolution could be better but it doesn't bother you much... The downside is that it tires you out in most games and makes you dizzy after about half an hour.

It really worths its money, you get lost in the game, I can't play some games downhill with a skateboard because I get dizzy. Get it and you won't stop playing!!
    Negatives:
    1. It's not easy to stop playing... (be careful with children)
    2. After 2 hours, you are mentally exhausted... you need a break of at least 10 minutes every half an hour!!

I bought the VR mask during the Christmas holidays on sale for 189 euros (with VR worlds as a gift). Perhaps the most impressive purchase I have ever made in my life! For those who have not yet experienced this VR experience, they will be amazed! The games, literally, have reached another dimension! I won't start writing and analyzing what I experienced wearing the mask... just for those who have the extra money to buy it (about 200 euros at the moment), they will have made the purchase of the year, not to mention the decade! The only negative is that in Greece, there are not many titles available for VR games, about 60 at the moment... It's worth the purchase. Rating: 8/10

I got it on Black Friday for 200€ and with the "return" program 20% from Eurobank it cost me 160€, for that money it's worth it. I wouldn't say so for 300€ and above.
    The positives:
    1) Great gaming experience (especially in some titles like Astro bot and resident evil 7)
    2) You can watch VR movies and they are awesome.
    3) You can watch 3D movies from blue ray.
    4) You can connect it to your pc, hack it and play HTC VIVE games!
    The negatives:
    1) After a while it gives you a headache (it gives me one now after 3-4 hours)
    2) The image is blurry sometimes.
    3) In some games (especially those played standing up) you may feel nauseous after a while, of course you get used to it over time and it doesn't affect you easily.

I have had it for 2 days now and it is truly incredible. When you try it for the first time with a good VR game like VR Worlds, Until Dawn Rush Of Blood, etc., then you will understand how real it is what you see.
The downside is that it doesn't have many games (serious games and not just anything for 5 euros), except for 5-6 that are really worth it. This alone made me want to sell it for a Nintendo Switch, something I haven't done yet. I have been a VR owner for about 2 weeks.

It's only worth borrowing it from a friend to see how it is. It's difficult to enjoy gaming on this thing.

The resolution feels like playing on a ps2, it's very vibrant. At first, you might feel a little nauseous, but then you'll get used to it.

The image is really worth the money, it is indescribable. If you wear headphones, you lose contact with the world. The only downside for me is that after a while of use it makes me quite dizzy

  • Finally, it's worth it. It's a very nice experience and if you find the right games, you will really like it. Try Beat Saber, Walking Dead, and Astrobot. They are the best and there are others that are also worth it, but these specific ones are fantastic games

  • I like the device. For its price, it is very good. The VR experience is enchanting, you immerse yourself in the game. Sometimes I feel dizzy, sometimes not, probably because of the cigarettes.

  • Owner of the PSVR for about 2 years with minimal use.
