Personally, I bought it used from another store with excellent battery quality (100%) and no scratches or dents. I have to say that at 250 euros, it is by far one of the best phones I have seen with wireless charging, NFC, Bluetooth that connects in seconds, and of course the classic iOS value that harmonizes with the hardware. Another positive is the fact that it is not loaded with bloatware and there is excellent space management by the operating system. Don't expect the performance of a 1110 euro phone, we are talking about a used one from 2017, but it can still comfortably compete with the mid-range category. Another thing I like is the "cleanliness" of the operating system, as well as the software security in applications, payments, etc., whether it is with a passcode, face ID, or Touch ID. If you really want an iPhone at a good price and find one in good condition, grab it because it has the same original operating system as the iPhone X

I have the 8 plus since the summer of 18. It is a durable phone. After 2.5 years and a little more, the battery might not be as strong, but so far I haven't had any problems with anything else. It is fast, doesn't freeze, and its design is beautiful. Of course, it still has the characteristic home button that I don't want to part with.
If you want a phone that maintains its quality quite high as the years go by, I think you found it.

I bought the mobile phone 3 years ago and I have to say that iPhones are overrated. The resolution of the front camera is very mediocre, it flips your face upside down because it is placed on the left side of the phone instead of the right or center like other mobile phones. Also, its battery doesn't last more than 15 hours with full social applications. Furthermore, the night mode for both the selfie and main rear camera is terrible, very blurry with no quality, even though it costed 800€ at that time, an excessive price for these capabilities that it essentially doesn't have. Sometimes it shuts down on its own and doesn't even turn back on, it takes about 15 minutes to start functioning again. The good things are that it has good sound quality and doesn't easily freeze like Android phones, it takes good photos with the main camera.

At the price you can find it used at the moment in the market, it is definitely worth it and more. Prices are around 350 and for that money, if you want to use an iPhone, it's great.
For about 500 euros, you can also find the iPhone X, but because of the notch, it's a bad choice for me.
I will stick with the black 8 plus, 128gb, until Apple releases or reduces the notch on their phones.

I have been using this phone for almost a month now, and I can say that I am fully satisfied in every aspect. Excellent results in videos and photos (both in the rear and front camera), excellent build quality, very clear and powerful sound (it plays sound from both the bottom speaker and the headphone speaker, providing a satisfying surround result). The last iPhone I used was the 3GS, and since then I bought a new Samsung every year because I was not satisfied. In my opinion, Apple takes a not insignificant amount of money from your pocket, but gives you a device that you can effortlessly use for at least 2-3 years. The only reason I bought the 8 and not the XR was its design. I recommend it to those who have the ability to afford it, I believe you will be equally satisfied as me.

Owner of the phone for 2 years now. It has served me well. It will definitely last another three years with a battery change. And I say this because I believe it will receive software updates for 2-3 years, something that Android users can only dream of. Don't bother comparing it to phones with a different operating system. The phone is perfectly fine for 2020. It doesn't have the annoying notch of the new iPhones, a satisfactory 1080 display, a home button and Touch ID, which I'm sure many people miss, a decent camera, sufficient RAM and processor. Add a case and a screen protector, and you're all set. The price at €500 is fair, anything more and you might as well consider the XR or 11 (basic). Don't spend €1100 on a phone. It's really a waste. Even if I had half a million in the bank, I would still go for something like the 8+, XR, or 11. That's it.

From the iPhone 6s to the iPhone 8 Plus, it was an upgrade that made a difference in many things that I will describe below:
1) The screen has improved colors, True Tone, and the transition from a 4.7-inch screen to a 5.5-inch one, I can say that it is a matter of habit and I did not have difficulty adjusting, but it remains a large smartphone!
2) Its camera is one of the best, as in every iPhone, with amazing colors, resolution, video recording from 720p 30fps to 4K 60fps, slow motion with two options: 1080p 120fps and 1080p 240fps, and a selfie camera that does not disappoint!
3) Second-generation Touch ID, which unlocks the phone very quickly!
4) Performance - here, what can I say, the phone is really fast with the A11 Bionic hexa-core processor, 2x Monsoon and 4x Mistral, with a neural engine running at 2.39 GHz, along with the tri-core graphics card and 3GB of RAM. It loads games, social media, and anything else quickly and smoothly!
5) The battery is quite good, easily lasting a day with heavy usage!
6) The stereo speakers have incredibly clear and loud sound!
7) As for storage space, I have the 64GB version, which serves me comfortably and has more than enough space, but let's not forget that everyone has different needs and should pay attention to the storage space when buying a phone!
8) The build quality is nice and premium, but also sensitive at the same time. I definitely recommend using a case and screen protector, and regularly cleaning the case, as dust can cause friction and leave marks on the device's casing.
9) Finally, I have not encountered any issues with the microphone, WiFi signal, phone calls, etc.
Well, I have this phone for my work and also for my free time. It has not disappointed me. I bought it for 680€ a year ago, and it is worth the money for what it offers. I recommend it to someone who wants the Touch ID and has the budget for it. It is a very good choice

I bought the 8 plus 64 gb in November 2017 for my daughter. In about a month and a half, it will be two years of daily and intense use by a teenager! And yet, it works flawlessly!
It runs iOS 13 smoothly! Its photos and videos are perfect! The sound is impeccable!
Touch ID is instantaneous! The battery usually lasts a day (let's not forget that it is used by an eighteen-year-old at full capacity every day, all day). The LCD screen is perfect (personally, I prefer LCD screens over LED screens).
I use it occasionally to download app updates and check its speed. It is truly flawless! After almost two years of use, out of the 64 gb, 21.36 gb are free. According to the mobile menu, it has 69 songs, 221 videos, 3,802 photos, and 359 apps stored in it!
It still has at least 3 useful years ahead, considering that iOS 13 is the last update that the iPhone 6s received this year. It is definitely worth it!
Personally, I use the iPhone SE that I bought in December 2016 (it also runs smoothly with iOS 13 - I will probably get a new iPhone next year since the SE is not expected to receive iOS 14).

I am the owner of this specific device as well as the owner of the entire range from the 4s to today, and I can make direct comparisons. I will not repeat everything that has been said, but I will make a brief comparison for what applies to this specific device today (September 2019).

This is the best upgrade option if your current iPhone is up to the 7 model. Without a second thought. It's not worth investing in a 7 or a 6. This is obvious.

However, I consider this specific device as the best choice for someone who wants to buy and is torn between this, the X, and the XS.

The 8 Plus is currently the best value for money, the price has dropped proportionally more than the other models, and it is a top device in terms of experience, both in software and camera, etc.

Especially the differences with the X (which still holds its value) are minimal and do not even concern the advanced user. Especially if you are not convinced about the face ID of the newer models, choose the 8 Plus without hesitation.

I am using the 8 Plus and the XS Max simultaneously, and I can say that I would easily prefer the 8 over the two, because both are fast and capable of all the basic daily functions, and especially the camera does not have significant differences.

If you are considering the XS or the XS Max, prefer to spend your money on the 11 Pro, which truly incorporates new technologies.

In conclusion, and in a few words, choose this over any other model, unless you are thinking of buying the much more expensive model released by Apple in the fall of 2019.

I believe that in the future, it will become a reference point as a best seller, just like the iPhone 5 generation.

I got it in September 2017 when it was released and the phone hasn't had any issues since then. Everything runs smoothly. The camera takes great photos. Also, I'm not just talking about simple tasks like browsing or music, but I've been playing a lot of PUBG (we're talking about chicken dinners only). Jokes aside, in 2019 I highly recommend it, especially considering its current price. The only thing I didn't like is that the battery health on the 8 Plus dropped to 87% within a year, but it has stabilized there in the last semester. However, my friends who have the 7 Plus don't have as much loss, but still, you can't say it drains quickly. iStorm told me it would cost 50 euros for a replacement with full checks, so everything is fine. Truly a very good phone.

I bought the mobile phone 3 years ago and I have to say that iPhones are overrated. The resolution of the front camera is very mediocre, it flips your face upside down because it is placed on the left side of the phone instead of the right or center like other mobile phones. Also, its battery doesn't last more than 15 hours with full social applications. Furthermore, the night mode for both the selfie and main rear camera is terrible, very blurry with no quality, even though it costed 800€ at that time, an excessive price for these capabilities that it essentially doesn't have. Sometimes it shuts down on its own and doesn't even turn back on, it takes about 15 minutes to start functioning again. The good things are that it has good sound quality and doesn't easily freeze like Android phones, it takes good photos with the main camera.

At the price you can find it used at the moment in the market, it is definitely worth it and more. Prices are around 350 and for that money, if you want to use an iPhone, it's great.
For about 500 euros, you can also find the iPhone X, but because of the notch, it's a bad choice for me.
I will stick with the black 8 plus, 128gb, until Apple releases or reduces the notch on their phones.

I have been using this phone for almost a month now, and I can say that I am fully satisfied in every aspect. Excellent results in videos and photos (both in the rear and front camera), excellent build quality, very clear and powerful sound (it plays sound from both the bottom speaker and the headphone speaker, providing a satisfying surround result). The last iPhone I used was the 3GS, and since then I bought a new Samsung every year because I was not satisfied. In my opinion, Apple takes a not insignificant amount of money from your pocket, but gives you a device that you can effortlessly use for at least 2-3 years. The only reason I bought the 8 and not the XR was its design. I recommend it to those who have the ability to afford it, I believe you will be equally satisfied as me.

Owner of the phone for 2 years now. It has served me well. It will definitely last another three years with a battery change. And I say this because I believe it will receive software updates for 2-3 years, something that Android users can only dream of. Don't bother comparing it to phones with a different operating system. The phone is perfectly fine for 2020. It doesn't have the annoying notch of the new iPhones, a satisfactory 1080 display, a home button and Touch ID, which I'm sure many people miss, a decent camera, sufficient RAM and processor. Add a case and a screen protector, and you're all set. The price at €500 is fair, anything more and you might as well consider the XR or 11 (basic). Don't spend €1100 on a phone. It's really a waste. Even if I had half a million in the bank, I would still go for something like the 8+, XR, or 11. That's it.

From the iPhone 6s to the iPhone 8 Plus, it was an upgrade that made a difference in many things that I will describe below:
1) The screen has improved colors, True Tone, and the transition from a 4.7-inch screen to a 5.5-inch one, I can say that it is a matter of habit and I did not have difficulty adjusting, but it remains a large smartphone!
2) Its camera is one of the best, as in every iPhone, with amazing colors, resolution, video recording from 720p 30fps to 4K 60fps, slow motion with two options: 1080p 120fps and 1080p 240fps, and a selfie camera that does not disappoint!
3) Second-generation Touch ID, which unlocks the phone very quickly!
4) Performance - here, what can I say, the phone is really fast with the A11 Bionic hexa-core processor, 2x Monsoon and 4x Mistral, with a neural engine running at 2.39 GHz, along with the tri-core graphics card and 3GB of RAM. It loads games, social media, and anything else quickly and smoothly!
5) The battery is quite good, easily lasting a day with heavy usage!
6) The stereo speakers have incredibly clear and loud sound!
7) As for storage space, I have the 64GB version, which serves me comfortably and has more than enough space, but let's not forget that everyone has different needs and should pay attention to the storage space when buying a phone!
8) The build quality is nice and premium, but also sensitive at the same time. I definitely recommend using a case and screen protector, and regularly cleaning the case, as dust can cause friction and leave marks on the device's casing.
9) Finally, I have not encountered any issues with the microphone, WiFi signal, phone calls, etc.
Well, I have this phone for my work and also for my free time. It has not disappointed me. I bought it for 680€ a year ago, and it is worth the money for what it offers. I recommend it to someone who wants the Touch ID and has the budget for it. It is a very good choice

I bought the 8 plus 64 gb in November 2017 for my daughter. In about a month and a half, it will be two years of daily and intense use by a teenager! And yet, it works flawlessly!
It runs iOS 13 smoothly! Its photos and videos are perfect! The sound is impeccable!
Touch ID is instantaneous! The battery usually lasts a day (let's not forget that it is used by an eighteen-year-old at full capacity every day, all day). The LCD screen is perfect (personally, I prefer LCD screens over LED screens).
I use it occasionally to download app updates and check its speed. It is truly flawless! After almost two years of use, out of the 64 gb, 21.36 gb are free. According to the mobile menu, it has 69 songs, 221 videos, 3,802 photos, and 359 apps stored in it!
It still has at least 3 useful years ahead, considering that iOS 13 is the last update that the iPhone 6s received this year. It is definitely worth it!
Personally, I use the iPhone SE that I bought in December 2016 (it also runs smoothly with iOS 13 - I will probably get a new iPhone next year since the SE is not expected to receive iOS 14).

I am the owner of this specific device as well as the owner of the entire range from the 4s to today, and I can make direct comparisons. I will not repeat everything that has been said, but I will make a brief comparison for what applies to this specific device today (September 2019).

This is the best upgrade option if your current iPhone is up to the 7 model. Without a second thought. It's not worth investing in a 7 or a 6. This is obvious.

However, I consider this specific device as the best choice for someone who wants to buy and is torn between this, the X, and the XS.

The 8 Plus is currently the best value for money, the price has dropped proportionally more than the other models, and it is a top device in terms of experience, both in software and camera, etc.

Especially the differences with the X (which still holds its value) are minimal and do not even concern the advanced user. Especially if you are not convinced about the face ID of the newer models, choose the 8 Plus without hesitation.

I am using the 8 Plus and the XS Max simultaneously, and I can say that I would easily prefer the 8 over the two, because both are fast and capable of all the basic daily functions, and especially the camera does not have significant differences.

If you are considering the XS or the XS Max, prefer to spend your money on the 11 Pro, which truly incorporates new technologies.

In conclusion, and in a few words, choose this over any other model, unless you are thinking of buying the much more expensive model released by Apple in the fall of 2019.

I believe that in the future, it will become a reference point as a best seller, just like the iPhone 5 generation.

I got it in September 2017 when it was released and the phone hasn't had any issues since then. Everything runs smoothly. The camera takes great photos. Also, I'm not just talking about simple tasks like browsing or music, but I've been playing a lot of PUBG (we're talking about chicken dinners only). Jokes aside, in 2019 I highly recommend it, especially considering its current price. The only thing I didn't like is that the battery health on the 8 Plus dropped to 87% within a year, but it has stabilized there in the last semester. However, my friends who have the 7 Plus don't have as much loss, but still, you can't say it drains quickly. iStorm told me it would cost 50 euros for a replacement with full checks, so everything is fine. Truly a very good phone.
