If you have long and narrow feet, take your regular size and you will be okay.
If you have wide feet, it's not for you. It's tight in the toe area.
I normally wear 42-42.5 wide, and comfortably 43 in many brands.
In this Columbia shoe, in size 43, I barely fit in width, while the shoe is big in length.
If I take 42.5, I definitely can't fit after 20 minutes of walking.
It is the longest size 43 I have ever bought!
Such a shoe should have room to be worn with slightly thicker socks.

I had the same ones and with daily use they lasted me for about 3 years, in the end the part where the lace goes in simply tore and that's why I got the same ones for 83 euros, they are worth their money since I wear these shoes daily.
