I had it (for) years. Yes - it generally drives you crazy: it sticks a lot on wireless (it has to be next to the source otherwise, it doesn't), it takes a long time to start up (but ok, you get over it, e.g. you turn it on earlier), it freezes during printing (it could be printing fine and out of nowhere it would freeze - and not because of WiFi connection issues), the menu is a hassle if you're in a hurry (it's not difficult, but navigating it is a pain), and as for OEM inks, sometimes it recognizes them, sometimes not (I think after the last update it doesn't recognize them at all).
It's not bad in terms of print quality, on the contrary, it can produce very good photo prints if you have the right paper and settings. However, the genuine inks together cost more than the printer itself. So in short, it is NOT worth it, ESPECIALLY if you need to print in large volumes

Not worth it! Every 50 pages it needs new genuine ink, which costs. Other than that, it's good, and I have no problem with the printing speed, but also with the wireless connection. If you want it for 5-6 pages of printing a month, it's okay.

Unbelievable difficulty with wireless connection. Incredibly slow. If you don't break it from your nerves, you will make a satisfactory scan or print for home use. Note that the ink cartridges run out quickly even in draft mode and they are quite expensive. Also, when one of the 2 ink cartridges drops significantly in level, it stops printing

Guys, for the money I got it, it has very good performance/price. It prints photos in quite good quality and the nice thing is that it has automatic photo copying when you put it on the scanner.
It has an option for different paper qualities.

The printing cost that others say is obvious that it is expensive but this applies to everyone. It's not the printer's fault ;)

Print wirelessly from mobile tablets and laptops via wifi, everything works perfectly without any issues. I use XL ink cartridges and they last a long time. It produces very good prints, but the ink cartridges are expensive everywhere.

Stay away as far as possible from this and from Canon. It eats paper and destroys you. Its (very expensive) inks run out after three prints. It did not accept the "pirate" ones and I didn't bother trying again. It does not print in black if one of the other colors has run out. Inks like blue even if you have never used them, decrease on their own. It prints slowly. It's a nerve-wracking war and a huge continuous expense and nothing else. The shame of printers. No stars from me. update: today, with an ink cartridge almost full, I threw it away and felt wonderful!

You are buying a wireless printer and looking for cables because it will never print wirelessly.
I uninstalled and installed the drivers 10 times. What a waste of time!

I have bought around twenty printers and multifunction devices in my life and I have used hundreds of different ones. It is the most miserable thing that has been released on the market. I simply threw it in the trash. Even if they give it to you for free, don't touch it.

  • I replaced my Canon mx 360 (which I had for almost 10 years) with the TS 5150.
The first impressions when I took it out of the box are that the build quality is not as good (not as good as the old one I had).
Other than that, I didn't find any other negatives, I connected to WiFi immediately. I am satisfied with the print quality and the scanner. I think it is a good choice for home use

I have had the printer for 2 years. I read the other reviews and I see that there are several problems with printing and response time for printing. I experienced the same thing, but I found the solution. You need to clear the printer's memory that stores files for printing (spool). Check out the Canon link: https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/index?page=content&id=ART109683 and https://www.hprintertechs.com/canon-printer-spooling-error

The all-in-one machine is worth the €50 I paid to buy it in order to use it mainly at home. The positives are that it has no problems with printing, scanning, and copying, and the negatives are that it struggles with wireless connection and now I only use it via USB. Finally, the main negative is that it works very well (without smudges and color fading) only when it has Canon ink, which is expensive (around €40 for black and color ink).

Good and relatively fast in printing and scanning, but only with the original ink cartridges. There is no comparison with the refills. The difference is significant. I recommend the package of 2 Canon Ink Cartridges PG-540XL & CL-541XL Black, Colour & 50 sheets GP-501 10x15cm 5222B013 (42.94€)

It has lost my faith. It has an issue with the wireless connection and the computer considers it closed when it is not, I have tried everything. The only thing that works is to first open the printer and then the computer.

The scanning quality is very good, but due to the connection problems I mentioned earlier, it gives an error in scanning 8 out of 10 times. When you manage to do everything, it's fine.

    In photocopies, it's perfect.

I have tried to print a photo once, it didn't come out very good.

In terms of usage, it's okay, I wouldn't say it's so difficult.

P.S. I would recommend using only genuine ink, which unfortunately is very expensive.

POSITIVES: Good analysis in the photos. Easy connection. Connection with WI-FI.

    NEGATIVES:
From the first day, it did not recognize the inks (It showed 10% in ink recognition). Generally, I rarely used it, so I thought the toner was to blame. 1 year later, after spending over 40 euros on consumables (2 color and 2 black inks, the most economical I found online and with printing characteristics up to 600 pages each), unfortunately, I only printed 40 pages.

It's really garbage and it cost me a fortune.
I trusted Canon, but this machine was a waste of money! STAY AWAY!!!

Trash machine. Printing quality very bad, especially in images and photos. I bought it for 75 euros for home use and even though I rarely used it anymore, it doesn't copy anymore. Barely suitable for any document. I bought it because of my good experience with previous Canon printers I had.

I found it on sale for 55€ minus 15€ cashback from the company, so 40€ in total. For this price, it is just average. The screen it has does not help with printing, despite the capabilities it offers, and even scanning double-sided documents, such as an ID, is not clear and takes time to find. If you want to print on photo paper, you have to place it only in the back and not in the bottom tray. Every time you put in paper, you have to register it on the screen. It does not print if the front is not raised enough. In terms of quality and speed, it is average. In short, it is quite an inconvenient machine.

From the moment I unpacked it, I realized the cheap construction of the canon, which is supposed to be one of their decent models. The installation, although time-consuming, had no problem. But when I tried to print a test pattern and align it, it never printed and said that I didn't place any paper. However, it would take the paper when printing files directly. After persistence and searching through any settings, it was returned and replaced the next morning. Let's not forget about the ink cartridge cover, which is supposed to stay open until you press it. As soon as you open it, it simply closes slowly.

I suggest turning to other brands and not be deceived by the price and ink prices, because with such construction that the company generally applies, you will be running for repairs and eventually replacement.

Good but it erases the ink

  • For the money it costs, it is more than enough.

  • I had it (for) years.

  • Not worth it! Every 50 pages it needs new genuine ink, which costs. Other than that, it's good, and I have no problem with the printing speed, but also with the wireless connection. If you want it for 5-6 pages of printing a month, it's okay.

  • Unbelievable difficulty with wireless connection. Incredibly slow. If you don't break it from your nerves, you will make a satisfactory scan or print for home use. Note that the ink cartridges run out quickly even in draft mode and they are quite expensive. Also, when one of the 2 ink cartridges drops significantly in level, it stops printing

  • For garbage. The worst purchase I have ever made in my life. To print one page drives me crazy. It drives me insane. Get an HP to do your job.

  • Guys, for the money I got it, it has very good performance/price. It prints photos in quite good quality and the nice thing is that it has automatic photo copying when you put it on the scanner.
It has an option for different paper qualities.

The printing cost that others say is obvious that it is expensive but this applies to everyone. It's not the printer's fault ;)
