Description

Dietary supplement that contributes decisively to the regulation of cholesterol and triglyceride levels.

The natural ingredients of Zeta Colest contribute to the effective and measurable improvement of the lipid profile, with a reduction in Total Cholesterol, LDL, and Triglycerides in an entirely natural way.

Benefits

  • Berberine, the alkaloid from the plant Berberis aristata, supports the improvement of the lipid profile in multiple ways. It helps increase LDL receptors in the liver. It contributes to the increased breakdown of cholesterol and its removal from the liver through bile, as well as the reduction of intestinal absorption of cholesterol. Additionally, it favors the reduced synthesis and increased breakdown of Triglycerides.
  • Monacolin K contained in Red Yeast Rice contributes to the reduced synthesis of cholesterol by inhibiting the enzyme HMG-CoA reductase.
  • Silymarin from the Milk Thistle plant has significant antioxidant properties that protect the liver, the main organ of cholesterol metabolism.
It contributes to the regulation of cholesterol metabolism and its removal through bile, improving lipid levels.
  • Guggulsterones, plant sterols contained in the Guggul plant. They exhibit hypolipidemic actions through their effect on the FXR receptor, a protein that plays a significant role in regulating cholesterol metabolism and its breakdown through the synthesis of bile acids.

For those who claim that "from 10 it went to 2.9 mg Monacolin-K," let them know the following: according to a study by the European Food Safety Authority, "monacolins when used as dietary supplements raise significant safety concerns at a dosage level of 10 mg/day. The group also concluded that isolated cases of serious adverse effects have been reported for monacolins from RYR at intake levels of up to 3 mg/day. The group concluded that exposure to monacolin K from RYR could lead to serious adverse effects on the musculoskeletal system, including rhabdomyolysis, and on the liver." https://www.efsa.europa.eu/en/efsajournal/pub/5368?etrans=en. The 10mg exceeded the maximum permitted content according to Annex III Part B of Regulation (EC) No 1925/2006, which states that individual portions of red yeast rice extract for daily consumption should contain less than 3 mg of monacolins.

2. Monacolin-K is lovastatin.

It reduced bad cholesterol in 3 months, but it also reduced good cholesterol (protection). Additionally, in the first 15 days of use, it caused musculoskeletal pain (same side effects as statins). Studies have shown that some supplements of this kind (red yeast rice) were found to contain regular statins, after testing, without naming the products. The good thing, however, is that this particular product does not contain Citrinin.

  • I have only the best to say about this particular product.
I have been working out for over 40 years.
I am 59 years old, I watch my diet, but in my last tests, my cholesterol was quite high: 265 total and 170 bad LDL.
With an even stricter diet and full exercise, it only dropped by 5 points.
Someone at the gym recommended these to me to avoid drops.
I took them consistently for 8 months, 1 every night at the same time.
I didn't change anything in my diet from before.
Tests after 8 months, the results were impressive.
    199 total
    125 bad LDL
It raised the good to 58
    and lowered the triglycerides.
Fantastic, I recommend it without a second thought.

Good product, but don't expect miracles. You will need to combine it with aerobic exercise and careful diet in order to see results. As for the claim that the level of monacolin has decreased, do some research before criticizing: "In 2018, EFSA issued an opinion on monacolin K in red yeast rice, supporting the concern about the safety of monacolins from RYR when used as dietary supplements at a level of 10 mg/day." So, it was necessary to reduce it and they did the right thing.

With a treatment of about 11 months and not taking the pill every day (i.e. out of the 330 days, I took 315). Without any carefully planned diet and no exercise at all, I saw the following results:

    Cholesterol from 246 to 194
    Triglycerides from 189 to 182
    HDL from 43 to 48
    LDL from 165 to 110

    So, it does the job.

With the Monacolins of the pill at: 2.9mg
If someone combines a good diet, occasional exercise, and the pill, I believe the results will be perfect.

I started treatment with triglycerides at borderline levels of 170, the next measurement after 2 months was 220, and after another month and a half of treatment, it was 440. Unfortunately, I got a pill from the doctor. I don't know if they work for cholesterol because I don't have it

I received them today. I haven't tried their effectiveness yet. The reason I am commenting is that if someone reads the content written on the box, in relation to an older photo that has been uploaded here in the comments, they will notice that the quantity of Monacolin (a substance found in red yeast rice and essentially the one that reduces lipids) has been reduced. The same thing happened with a similar supplement that I was taking, and they reduced it from 10 mg to 3 mg. So I don't know to what extent the previous reviews correspond to the new dosage.

These pills are miraculous! In just 2 months and 5 days of taking the pills (1 every night), my cholesterol dropped from 280 to 192 and my triglycerides dropped from 152 to 103, without any changes in my diet. I never believed that a herbal product would have such a result. And the most important thing is that you can avoid statins from conventional medical drugs against cholesterol, which lead to liver burdens and damages. Take it, you will be saved!

I had high cholesterol, so I took the pills. After about 3 months (I took them throughout), I did tests and my cholesterol dropped back to normal levels with decreased LDL.
I stopped taking them for about 1 month and did tests again. Cholesterol went up again. Same lifestyle without significant changes.
I will take them again and do tests and make edits.

I combine them with an Omega-3 pill every morning. During the time I stopped taking Zeta, I also stopped taking Omega-3.
No side effects or anything to worry about.

It seems like they do a very good job, I will come back.

I prefer this.... from 170 with statins and general muscle problems and this is proven!!! although they have a cost compared to prescription drugs!! one observation, the price keeps going up.. it started at 10 euros about 5 years ago and now it's 18+++ I understand the market but enough with the excessive profit....

Unfortunately, the results of the product for me were minimal. A drop in LDL from 156 to 144 in 6 months of use and generally paying attention to diet.

    19/01/2023:
    Cholesterol 260
    LDL 198

14/11/2023 and after taking the pill daily without any changes in dietary habits:
    Cholesterol 205
    LDL 138

It seems that the pill works, at least for me.

I have been taking it for 6 months. Before this, Total Cholesterol was 248, now 192. Bad Cholesterol was 162, now 125. I never had an issue with triglycerides, so I don't know if it would do anything there.

Unfortunately, they didn't do anything for me. I started treatment with triglycerides at borderline levels of 170, the next measurement after 2 months was 220, and after another month and a half of treatment, it was 440. Unfortunately, I got a pill from the doctor. I don't know if they work for cholesterol because I don't have it

I bought it because it says it has 10 mg of monacolin, but when I received it, I saw that the composition has changed and the box says 2.9 mg, which is not mentioned here. I don't know if it will have any effect anymore

Unfortunately, the pills did not work for me at all. I am 25 years old and in recent years my cholesterol has been increasing due to heredity. My doctor recommended them to me and my cholesterol went from 250 to 299. It should be noted that my diet does not include fatty foods - fried foods, etc
