The Hartmann Safix Plus plaster bandage is used for tubular plaster casts and does not require a long soaking time. It conforms to the contours of the body, reducing the risk of constriction, and hardens in approximately 5 minutes. After 30 minutes, it can withstand short-term pressure.
The modelling time is 2–3 minutes and the setting time is 4–5 minutes. A small amount of tape provides high final stability. It can also be used to make masks, sculptures and other objects.
