This volume contains: (a) a concise presentation of the process of solving structures using the classical, "manual" Method of Displacements (MD), and (b) a series of exercises aimed at reinforcing the understanding of the fundamental reasoning of MD and its various assumptions.

The concise presentation is accompanied by a reminder of certain useful elements for processing the exercises, such as the convention of positive signs, the Williot diagram, the principle of virtual work, and the methods for checking the results.

Also provided are the auxiliary tables required for the numerical solutions.
