The purpose of the book is to contribute to the broader discussion regarding the understanding, analysis, and interpretation of the "words" and "practices" of the EU in education and training during the 2000s within the context of the political and economic transformation of the European Union (completion of the EMU, enlargement with the CEECs, European Constitution).
